Every channel that`s all I see. He went to a teachers house for a visit and a chat as she had written him a letter with concerns

for her son`s future. He just left her house and is going to the arena for a address. Can you tell I am unexcited?  The most famous person

that lives in my town is Warren Buffet, now him I like. When people ask me why on earth do I ever want to live in Omaha, I say if

it`s good enough for him it`s good for me! LOL.

I agree with everything you said, if I had a choice to have lunch with one of them it would definitely be Warren Buffet! Hi to you from a fellow Nebraskan, although we are about as far apart as you can get, I'm in the exciting town of McCook!

Hi back! Go Big Red! LOL. I have never been to McCook, my hubby may have as he works at many places painting water towers and bridges.

I always hear that locally Warren Buffet loves to eat at Gorat`s Steak House often wonder if they have a private dining area for him. I have

driven by his house, he has lived in the same home for years and it is not extravagant.

I worked on both of Obama's campaigns and would love the opportunity to meet him.
It is rare for a President to come to Omaha. I am not a very political person, I am not knocking him, that is great that you

campaigned for him, how exciting for you! Wish you could see him. This election though I registered to vote and am really

trying to see what the candidates are about and vote this time around. The last time I ever voted was for Nixon in the

70`s! I decided it is high time I take advantage of my opportunity to vote and learn about some things along the way!

My friends got to meet him back when he was "just" a Senator still. I think it was back in........ 2006? So he was a US Senator at that point. I think it was a fundraiser of sorts for something, will have to ask my friend again what it was. Even got pics with the Senator! He's a Chicago guy so I would love to meet him as well! Every election he has to come back to Chicago to vote, which means a lot of folks in some of the restaurants in the area (South Side, I keep forgetting the name of that particular neighborhood he's from) get the chance to meet him. I'm way up in the northern suburbs, no one ever comes here :lol3:

I would love to meet him too. He was in my town 3 times during his term, but the closed roads and tickets gone within the first 3 hours is meh. :lol3: Never met a head of state before, so just for that reason I'd love to meet whoever is in office.

This is the closest I've ever come to meeting a head of state.

We were on... I forget the street we were on, but I think Logan Boulevard was the cross street. We had to wait for the Presidential motorcade to drive by. Then we saw the car with all the little flags and saw what we always like to think was Bill Clinton's arm waving at the folks :lol3: I don't know if it was or not, but we always say it was.

Obama came to Vegas a lot when I still lived there. He gave a speech at my high school during my senior year and several of my friends attended. I'd love to meet him one-on-one, but I'm way too restless to sit and listen to a speech. (Especially on those bleachers. No thanks.)
