Hi Everyone

I am new to being a cat mommy and i am so glad i found this site. i am learning all that i can about taking care of a kitten.

 On june 10th 2015 miss kitty turned up on my porch covered in blood and only 6 weeks old, i immediately took her to the vet, thankfully the blood was not hers. her mother and siblings had been killed by stray dogs, we live in a very rural area and animals are often dropped off. i fell in love with her and now she is 8 months old. i want to make sure she gets the best care and i feel i can get a lot of good advice here.

i'm so glad your Miss Kitty found her way to you and her new furever home!

i have kittens too, though my DeeDee and Allie are just 5 months old now. our Jaspurr is 3 1/2 years old, and loves his girls very much already.

we'd love to see pics of your Miss Kttty, if you have some and are able to upload them...(if you need help, there's a tutorial on how to post pics -- http://www.thecatsite.com/a/image-and-video-tutorial#user_imagesposts) there might be a delay when you add a pic at first -- before it shows up in your posting/reply, since you're a new member, but it'll show up not too long afterwords.
