Sounds like you are going to have fun the next couple days!  Poor thing is probably scared to death waking up with the blow dryer on her...

I have no idea, I have 2 cats and a dog, if she was in the house wouldn't one of them sniff her out? I did not see her run out? I have forbidden my father in drive, in case she is in engine. She is my TNR who had a shelter outside. I revived her in the garage, which is attached to house.

I'm in Northwest Ohio - and I know how frigid it is here - and imagine you're in lake effect area. Definitely understand your worry! So you think she escaped the garage back outside? Is it possible she is holed up somewhere in the garage? Since you know ferals you know how they can hunker down and basically make themselves invisible for much longer than we'd expect! But if she was in the garage, I'm guessing you think someone opened the door and she ran out? Since I'm guessing you've now got new snow too - can you check for tracks?

I'll think happy thoughts that she's just holing up somewhere - in or out - and recovering.

maybe you can sprinkle some baby powder or sifted flower on the floor and then put some food out for her.  If she comes to eat, you will see her paw prints and maybe she will leave tracks which direction she is heading.

Frost bite hurts, nd if this cat was frozen I am sure she was in pain when she regained consciousness....  I sure hope she is okay.

If the doors and windows were all closed then she's probably hiding somewhere in the house. When I first got Henry and he was in his safe room, I couldn't find him for anything. He was a master of hiding. I'd pay attention to the dog. Once when Henry was "missing", I let the dog into his safe room. It took her all of 10 seconds to sniff him out. Once she did, I took her out of the room and gave her a treat. Do you have something that might smell like her that you can let the dog sniff? The scent might make the dog look for it again and you might find her. Good luck.

She showed up for food tonight. She was outside, I never saw her dart out of garage, I gave her two cans of food in the kitchen I turned to the dog and turned back and she was gone again like a phantom. It has temporarily warmed up. I hope she has learned to use the shelter I built instead of staying out in the elements. She is a true feral![emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128576[/emoji]

So glad she showed up!! The weather here has warmed up too - the kitties are definitely enjoying the warm up here. When I put up new shelters - one way I entice is a new catnip mouse right at entrance. Has worked several times.

Hope she stays healthy!
