We recently got a kitten for our five year old cat, we adopted the new kitten from the rspca .He has had all his shots he has been wormed flea treatment micro chipped, he has been here for over a week. My female cat Esti, has been amazing up till three days ago. She is a very sensitive cat health wise, she is allergic to many things and has breathing issues since she was a kitten . We haven't bought anything new, we haven't put any chemicals down, but we do suspect that she has eaten the kittens food. She has eaten this food before but it made her poop blood so we changed her onto a new one. That was four years ago. But over the past few days she has stopped eating and drinking, won't open her mouth, sleeps behind the couch, and poops and pukes runny see through stuff with blood. The first day of this it was absolutely foul we both nearly threw up. She hasn't peed, I've been syringing water to her the past few day's. But she fights drinking it, she'll just let it dribble out. I'm so scared. I had a cat when I was 15 who died from leukemia with similar symptoms. The difference is that Esti isn't losing weight? I'm so scared and can't help breaking down when she doesn't want anything. Sometimes she will just lay there grabbing my hand :( I'd take her to the vet but we just paid our bills and only have 300 left and I don't know how much it will cost (last vet visit was 700). Am I doing the right thing with the water? I syringe water every hour, we also got cat milk and have been giving her a tiny bit of that each hour. Because it's 40℃ + here at the moment I've put her in an air-conditioned room. Please give me suggestions :(

She absolutely needs to see a vet, and fast.  Can you find one that will accept a payment plan?

Our new vet (recently moved house last year) Won't take payment plans. The one down the road from them don't either :( I've rang every vet close to us, there are vets in the city but that's two hours via public transport which would stress her out :(

She needs calories, which she isn't getting.  Keeping her hydrated is important, but she doesn't seem to be keeping much of that down either.  I think she needs medical attention urgently.

Your cat is suffering. You need to get her to a vet for at least a basic exam to try to get an idea what is going on.

Update! We went to a vet and they said it could be a snakebite lol..she is an indoor cat. They told us to take her to a vet hospital three suburbs away, which we did. The vet there was amazing I told him our and her situation, he said they could keep her in over night for scans and blood tests, but he believes that she may of eaten something that didn't digest properly or she has a tummy bug. So he sent us home with antibiotics and a liquid that is like hydralyte. She received an anti nausea shot, and so far she is moving around more and drank from the syringe by herself for a small bit, still hasn't eaten yet. But we are so proud of her progress.

how is she doing?
She drank by herself this morning at her water bowl, still hasn't eaten, but she has definitely perked up!  Been enticing her with chicken and meaty bits which she shows a high interest in eating, but just wont eat.

She has had her morning antibiotic,  she needs to take one in the morning and one at night. The hydralyte  has to be given at night if she hasn't eaten/drink that entire day. But her progress is slow but sure that her health is improving.

Any improvement is good news, sometimes these things take a while. BTW you better get an exterminator to take care of your house-snake issue.

Yeah! Very proud of her. lol this house is so much like FortKnox three doors to the back yard three doors to the front. A snake wouldn't make it past the second door
