Anywhere warm! Maybe Florida, Arizona, or Southern California. I could look outside the US too.

I wouldn't mind going back to live in San Diego where I lived from 1972 thru 1980.  The weather is beautiful there and close to lots of great places.
great choice!
southern California is really lovely, and the weather is just about perfect!

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and that is where I always have and always will call 'home'.

Yes, we have the four seasons and the older I get, the more I detest the cold weather. But I've lived other places and I remember my first Christmas in Texas. UGH! It was 74F and we sat around the Christmas tree barefooted, in shorts and t-shirts with the air conditioner on. Christmas lights were strung outside on palm trees and I cried for three days!  There are a lot of places I would love to visit, but when it boils down to it... There's no place like HOME!
a very lovely sentiment!

I'm pretty young and broke, so I've had very few opportunities to travel, almost none in my adult life. However, I really do think I'd prefer a colder climate (I know, I'm crazy), but the cold always makes the kitties cuddle more, and my Dubs could never handle the heat, even though I've lost him now its still a consideration. I'm more of a "sit on a beach in the cold with a coffee" person than a "lie on the beach and tan" person. Ideally a world of perpetual autumn would be great, but we don't live in a perfect world.

We're really happy where we are, but if you could pick the mountain up and spin it around so we're facing the ocean that would be great.

I'm not sure....... somewhere warm, say between 70 and 80 degrees, but with some kind of short, not too cold winters to kill off bugs and give a person a break. Florida has non stop horrible humidity and mosquitoes the size of June bugs, so no thanks. Most of those southern states make you feel like you need a shower right after you had one. But I'm SURE there has got to be 'pockets' of beautiful weather down there somewhere. My uncle lives on the west side of the Rockies and he says the weather there is perfect, I might look into that. Please post the best spots to live, I love hearing about them on these below zero mornings!

I do NOT like the tropics. Bugs, fungus, humidity, ugh. Now, maybe a mountainous area of an equatorial country, that could be OK. Somewhere not so wet but still doesn't get bitter cold. But I don't mind reasonable cold, I'm fine down to about 10 degrees. Under that, no thanks. So somewhere that has seasons but never gets colder than 10 degrees
.
a mountainous area of an equatorial country would be very nice -- interesting too!

these days i feel cold of it's 72 degrees F or lower!

Somewhere warm. Australia might be nice (I have family over there), but I'm not too keen on all the monster bugs and spiders (I'm fine with spiders of all sizes in the UK...just not sure how I'd adjust to the venomous ones
)

In reality, I don't see me moving far...if at all. Much as I hate British weather, I'm REALLY bad with change. Just the thought of the process of moving freaks me out. Of course, if I could wave a magic wand and suddenly be moved, with everything in place and unpacked, that might be a different matter....
i get that! over sized bugs and spiders, especially venomous ones, don't sound good to me either!

i agree, moving is definitely not fun.

I'm happy where I am
Ontario, Canada for the win!  But if I absolutely had to choose beyond that, it would definitely be Northern or Central Europe.

Plus when it comes to my animals, I tend to care more about how the animal rights laws are, then worry about things like the weather/climate. Then afterward think about stuff like what is available in terms of local activities.
Northern or Central Europe! lovely choice!

very good point, about the animal rights laws!

If it were up to my babies, I'm SURE they'd say somewhere warm. Preferably an uninhabited island where they can wander around lol. Maybe if I win that billion-dollar powerball....

As for me, I like where I'm at. I really love the Chicago area. I used to live in the city but am a full-fledged card-carrying suburnanite now. I love Minneapolis and Toronto as well. Kansas City is nice but gets too hot for my taste. I can deal with the cold a lot better. The kitties definitely don't like it, hence my vents being layered with cats, or cats sleeping in a pile. Oh, and Mitchell, SD would be nice if I was going to go to a "non-city" place. But it's a bit crazy-cold there.
yes, my kitties would prefer living somewhere warm too!
and i'm coming around to that line of thought!
