Hi everybody! I'm the proud mommy of an approximately two-year-old cat named Lily. (Hence my name!) We got her in October from a local shelter and we just adore her! Even my DH, who says he's not a cat person.

I sure do have pictures!

I have to also mention that I have another kitty...she lives with my father. She's almost 16 years old and an outdoor cat so we decided it was not in her best interests to be moved. I live an hour away from my dad and miss her terribly! So, here's my little Princess:

It's a really old picture, she was probably about two years old or less here!

Welcome to the site! Oh, Lily is gorgeous!!! She looks so petite and lady-like.
Princess is a real stunner too.

I'm glad you found us here, and I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Thank you all for the welcomes and kind compliments to my kitties! I think they are both the most beautiful things in the world, but I'm really biased!

More thank yous to everyone who has complimented my pretty kitties!

tulip2454 - It took us about a week to decide on Lily as her name, but I knew it had to be very feminine, because she's very feminine! Her middle name is Grace. I always give my cats middle names, too.

himmymommy and greycat2 - Growing up, we always got our cats from shelters. The shelter we got her from was overloaded with cats so I felt really good about giving her a home. Not to mention, she kept getting colds from the other kitties the whole time she was there, so I felt like a home without any other cats would be ideal for her. And it has - she's been healthy as a horse since she's been here!
