New 5 oz cans do not fill up my cats but if I add one small Soulistic good karma on top that is just right for breakfast. It keeps the two of them full until dinner. Anyone else find this to be true?

I have several cats, but yeah, the 5oz cans aren't good enough by themselves. I've also noticed the 5oz cans are underfilled and usually more like 4.8oz. My cats LOVE the chicken, though so I keep buying it for that reason.

I thought the LID cans were 5.5 or 6oz cans and didn't realize they were only 5oz until @missmimz  recenlty mentioned the size of the cans.   For the price of a case on Chewy they should be 6 oz cans!   It does look like the cans are underfilled too.

I'm thinking about dropping it from my rotation.  They should be selling 5.5 or 6oz cans for that price

I actually weighed several cans and they were all under filled. I contacted Merrick about it and they said they didn't know of any issues with the cans being under filled but they sent me like 4 coupons for free cans. I'm glad they were responsive, but I think all their cans are under filled. I only buy the chicken because my cats really like the chicken, but for the price it's pretty weak that they aren't even 5oz.
