I really do love him. I didn't want to have to rehome him so I've been on the phone for days. I've called every number between me and an hr distance to find someone that would help me do what was right for him. One place told me "it's not our fault you got an animal yo can't take care of" talk about make me mad! I thought he ended up in my ditch for a reason! So we have made it threw another hurdle together! I picked him up kissed his cute little face and said "well we've done it! You're gonna stay here!"
Sounds like things are looking up. :) You've worked really hard for your kitty and it's paying off. What a lucky kitty to have you as a guardian. [emoji]128149[/emoji]

When i got him he was so flea ridden and had ear mites. I didn't know if he was going to make it. He can only eat Purina gentle because everything else makes him sick. Even kitten food. BELL is short for silver bell.

He looks so happy and content, you are obviously doing a great job taking care of him
He's the only cat I've ever had. I'm usually a dog person. But he's a heck of a mouser!! Thats the only reason hubby let me keep him. He's growing on him too. He made a comment this morning that he's glad he's been sleeping. He gave him a little pet and left for work!

LOL I thought I was a dog person until Midnight came along. After 8 years with him I now can say without a doubt I am a cat person. I love all animals, but there is something about a cat that I find so charming and alluring and fascinating . To gain a cat's trust it takes so much work but when you make that connection it is so special.  They are such strong characters and when one claims you, it is such a special feeling to be a chosen one.

I've had two brain surgeries. After my 2nd one I had inner cranial swelling.my dog (blue heeled) jumped on the bed and made me get up. She wouldn't let me just sleep. She kept pushing me to the door but wouldn't go outside. My husband called the ambulance. Had I waited anymore I wouldnt have made it. My dog I feel saved my life. But I feel Bell was in my ditch for reason. I think he is here to tell me slow down and rest. I'm only 27 and twice I should have died now. I think my animals keep me balanced in doing what I need to do!

Ellie (my blue heeler) was also a rescue. When I got her she was 15# underweight and do hand shy you couldn't touch her. She was about a year and a half old and had lived her whole life in an outside concrete floor inclosure.
