Our living room is huge, 28x12 and we have lived here 2 years in emptiness. All we had was 2 reclining chairs and a tv by the fireplace, all the space behind us was empty! Wednesday our new furniture arrived. All we have left to do is buy 2 table lamps for the end tables and a bracket to put the tv on the wall. Here

is a before picture and a after.

Nice! Congratulations! Your room looks lovely!

I really like your paint color on the walls......what is it called, if you don't mind me asking?

Love the rugs, too!

I do not know what the paint color is called, was painted that color when we moved in. I like the rugs too but after laying the new one wished we had bought

2 so they match, but when these wear out I will do just that, do not want to spend another $280 for another rug after buying all the furniture, besides, my

home is not going to be in a issue of House Beautiful, all that matters is we are happy with it and it is home. Thanks for the compliments! It was funny,

after the delivery men laid the rug and put in the furniture the cats came to investigate and meowed and rolled all over the rug like it had cat nip on it,and

Liberty that you never see leave my bedroom now comes in the living room and sits beside me now that we have a couch, she was never one to sit in

my lap and when we had the reclining chairs only there was no where she could sit by me.

To go with our new furniture I want some throw pillows and was on Amazon and saved lots of cat pillows to my wish list, thought it was fitting to toss some

cat deco pillows around since it is fitting, thought it would be a cute touch.

Did a search at the Amazon web site for deco cat pillows and this is one of a few that came up.

Congratulations.  Your home looks really warm and cozy.
Thanks, it is cozy. And yesterday as a last resort in all our stores of searching went to Walmart to love for table lamps and throw pillows, me thinking the selection

would be low, it was yet we found exactly what we had in mind. We also went shopping for a wall bracket for the tv and ended up buying a bigger tv because

Best Buy had a great sale, my husband decided to give the other flat screen to his dad. So, living room is complete once hubby feels like hanging the tv.

Nice! Looks very comfortable. I like the chocolate wall colour too, the furniture looks good against that background.

Love the colors you picked out. That's how I wanted my study to look!! I've had my 2 children n their families live w me on n off for 10 yrs.Daughter moved out, I moved my stuff in. All I needed to do was paint n add wall decorations. Then my son needed to move back, so NO study. Now I can visualize it for when they do move out!! It's beautiful!! I know you must be thrilled!! My secret to a gorgeous wood floor is so so simple. I brew 2 bags of Lipton tea, let it cool, use it undiluted on a rag I dip and squeeze out and another to dry with. I learned

from the internet searches and wood professions that tea nourishes the floor because it has tannin in it, I have used this brew for years and the floors look so pretty. It

is so much cheaper than floor cleaners and does a much better job! You can do the same with wood furniture. You just brew to a light medium or dark depending on

your wood.

I just brew it in a regular size pan, I would guess about 32-44 oz of water....enough to put into a small bucket and dip your rag in.
How much water do you use with the tea bags? I have hardwood floors and they REALLY need a make over!! [emoji]128559[/emoji]

You really can`t mess it up, nothing has to be exact.
