Hello. I've come across this site and learned a lot from reading useful info on rasing a cat especially on their healthy needs. Bum is our first kitten because my partner and I grew up in a household surrounded with dogs :rbheart: after a year and half of planning and if we should get a cat or a dog - argued etc we've one day decided to stop over-analysing and get one :lol3: our thoughts on getting a cat since our only idea of them were ferals cats (there were lots of them back in our home country) we generally thought they were unpredictable and aggressive. But this changed after visiting some friends here who owns cats and finding them suitable pets that can live indoors on flat apartments without complains from neighbours, we've decided its finally time. We didn't even had carrier whatsoever but only litter box and pouches of wet and a box of dry food. And we didn't have any clue what to buy and it tooks us about an hour to decide which to pick in the grocery store. When we got home I looked it up online, and oh it was a mistake we bought her food that had negative reviews (now we are seriously considering to move her to better food). And back to getting the cat, oh my it was unbelievable. My partner said we will just go and have a look and warned me not to be compulsive. But when we saw her, even my partner said lets take her home :D she was in the first 2 days very scared, hiding and not eating. The first 2 days we didn't have enough sleep because we were worried. We started to read more about cats behaviour then finally started to adapt to their unique personality. My partner fed her by hand, she wasn't eating and then rub the food on her mouth and teeth - she started to lick the food and from then on she eats a lottt and started to trust us and gain confidence. I'm really amazed at how mysterious cats can be. Every day is a learning process and not everything we get the first time. Its a series of trials. She had made a difference to our lives. Everday we are saddened to leave here alone and at same time we are very excited to get home. I've made her some home made toys so she knows she is loved! To cut a very long introduction, here she is:

All of her siblings I saw the picture from the vet who took care of their vaccinations:

She is gorgeous!! I love long-haired gray kitties. I am also new to cats, having only had our 2 mini dachshunds prior to this. They passed away in 2014 at ages 16 and nearly 15. Now we have 3 (!) kitties.

Hope to see you around here often, with lots of pictures of Bum Bum!
