Pumpkin had her second kitten booster two days ago. Since her breakfast after the vet visit, Pumpkin's appetite is pretty lacking. She approaches her wet food with interest, licks it and walks away. Normally it'd be gone within twenty minutes. I offered some cat milk to see what she'd do and she drank it. Pumpkin also ate one of her frozen treats with a pieces of a different wet food. Could it be that she simply doesn't want the Whiskas anymore? We've tried different brands before and she wasn't interested.

My Mum and siblings are visiting for a week so that might be causing some mild stress? Though she's quite confident with visitors.

I'm taking her back to my vet for a check up to be sure if Pumpkin isn't eating normally tomorrow.

Try offering a different wet food and see if that makes any difference. Cats can get picky from time to time. I'd definitely try a different brand/flavour before going back to the vet - especially if her behaviour is otherwise normal.

If, however, her appetite doesn't improve with a simple food change, then a vet check is a good idea. It's particularly important to be sure that kittens eat enough.

Had some chicken wings defrosting on the counter and she would not leave them alone. When offered some she wolfed it down I'll buy some other brands of wet food and look into a raw diet.

It is very possible that the stress of going to the vet as well as the new people in your home have stressed her out and caused a little upper respiratory infection.  Keep an eye on her and if she continues to not eat, get her to the vet quickly.

Pumpkin ate some dry food early this morning but seems mostly uninterested in the tin of Wellness I put down though she has been drinking. Pumpkin also hasn't been doing the usual food demands meowing at me whenever I'm near the fridge. Pumpkin has only been interested in the Whiskas pouches for the 4 months she's been alive so it makes sense that she'd want change.

Going to the supermarket to buy Fancy Feast, Applaws chicken (what's in the frozen treats) and some others to see if I can tempt her. If she still won't eat, I'll book her in for this afternoon at the vet though she is otherwise healthy: drinking water, affectionate, and playing with the children as well as by herself.

Barely interested, I have to hold food to her face or put it immediately in front of her. Trying to get siblings to leave her alone more.

Boyfriend agreed to drive us to the vet tomorrow to get a physical and advice. Worried about my bub since she's usually a guts.

Update:

Offered her some more Applaws breast since she was roaming the house. She promptly threw up on the floor and her favourite cardboard box. I'm assuming it was bile since it was yellow/green with small pieces of chicken (biscuits and raw chicken no where to be seen).

Immediately after, she ran to the fridge and begged for food. Cautiously gave her a sliver of Whiskas. Purred while licking the gel and took a couple of bites before running off to play. Pumpkin even gave me a quick bite so her behaviour is still normal.

Thanks for the good vibes. Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious.
