My cat that fell down a stairwell won't eat. Backstory is that he fell, went to the vet, was x-rayed and given tramadol. Vet said no major injury and just give him time.
Two weeks later he was still very lame, but leg looked very unstable.
Over the weekend he started eating less and less and peeing less and less. I took him back on Monday, they took lots more x rays and now think he needs surgery on the knee and gave him more tramadol. HE had Ibd and takes pred for that.
Then back on Tuesday because he still wasn't eating. Got fluids both days and anti-naseau yesterday.
I still can barely get him to eat. I don't know what else to do. Even when he had bloody diarrhea from the ibd he was always hungry.
The vet also said his liver looked small on the xray, but didn't know if that was cause for concern.
Any thoughts, ideas. Thanks.
