Please help! My baby is very lethargic, sleeping a lot. Her appetite is down and she has not wanted to play at all! She's usually so playful! She's going to be 4 months old soon. I am going to call in the next couple weeks about her getting spayed but I'll call the vet sooner if she's sick..... She doesn't seem to have lost weight or anything, her appetite has dwindled the past 2 days though. Her little nose is a little wet. Is that normal? She is just laying on my bed. I've only seen her use her glitter box a couple times all day but then again she hasn't been eating much. I've seen her drink her water a few times. Could she just be growing and needs to rest? If she is sick, what can the vet do to help her?

She needs to see the vet.  Could be a cold or something, but he can give her an antibiotic (shot) and she'll be good to go.

Poor Nala Ave Maria and sympathies to you, too. You have both been through so much recently. It's hard to know what a vet can do for without knowing what is wrong with her but I think in your shoes, I'd take her in. Normally one day of sleeping a lot and not eating much wouldn't worry me but since Nala has just had a medical procedure and spent time at the vet, maybe you should have her checked out. At least call the vet and let them know what's going on. Hopefully it is nothing more than an off day. [emoji]128049[/emoji]

So sorry that poor little Nala is not feeling like herself. It all depends on how long she has been acting like this. One day is not much to worry, but if it goes on longer, I would take her to see the vet. I tend to worry, though. Ever since Mickey's loss, I bring my kitties right to the vet if something seems off. Nala may just have a cold, but need antibiotics. She may also have a fever which could explain her sleeping more. A small kitten usually has so much energy though. I do feel she should see a vet. The vet can give a thorough exam and let you know if anything may be wrong. It could be a cold or fever or even an ear infection, something that only antibiotics can help. We can all guess, but only a vet can give you the answers.
My thoughts are with both you and Nala!
She is such a sweetie!
I want to see her well!!

She's just been so sleepy, yesterday she was playful. I'm going to call her vet tomorrow. She's drinking water right now so I hope that's a good sign. Her nose was a little wet, her eyes aren't crusty. She snuggled with me all night last night. She slept well but it kinda seemed like she was snoring? Lol, she purrs at night too though so maybe it was her purring? I keep trying to engage her in play and she's hiding but staring at me from around the corner. Could her immune system be compromised because of surgery?

Re: her immune system being compromised - that's what I wondered. It's probably nothing but you can't go wrong by being cautious. Give little Nala a kiss from me. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Yes, it is possible. She has been through alot, so her system may just be trying to return to normal. Cats do snore, but so cute when they do.
She is getting so big, and even more adorable!
Nala, we all love you and want you well.
You should be running around and driving your "mommy" crazy.

She's usually literally bouncing off the walls a few times a day, she does where she just runs across the room, jumps up on the furniture, leaps down and basically acts like a crazy kitten. She usually attacks cords, fringe on blankets, all of her toys, and the mini blinds. I hope she's back to herself tomorrow. I emailed her vet and they're usually very good about getting back to me promptly. I'll keep everyone posted and let everyone know if I take her in and what they do for her.

Yes, it does sound like she's not feeling well. Poor baby. I'll be looking for your update. Beautiful photo, btw. She's turning into a stunning girl.

Thank you. My daughter just told me tonight that Nala Ava Marie "isn't little and cute anymore." She also said "she's lost her baby fluffy kitten look." [emoji]128575[/emoji] I'm partial, of course but I think she's becoming a little beauty so I'm glad to read that other people think she's still a pretty girl too.

Little Nala is growing up!
Some people only like kittens and want them to remain little.
I think that Nala is becoming more beautiful and adorable as she grows up. She will also become more calmer and quiet as she gets older.
My Mittens loves to lay and watch television with me. Some people may think that he is a boring cat and not cute. I think my Mittens is a beauty and I love him just the way he is. I wouldn't change either of my kitties for the world.
Your Nala is gorgeous and perfect and that will only improve as she ages.

Kittens do grow up. I think Mittens is adorable! Nala seems to be feeling a little better. I wonder if she might have earache or ear infection? I just saw her pawing at her left ear? One encouraging sign; she found a shiny silver Christmas bow she must've had stashed away somewhere and was batting it around a little bit! [emoji]128570[/emoji] She's gingerly pawing at some toys right now and investigating her toy box. She's been sleeping all day.....maybe she was resting up to party all night tonight? Kitten party at Nala's place!

Nala is absolutely stunning! No, not biased at all. Those eye are just... captivating! Hoping for good news at the vet today. And hoping it's just an "off" day. But of course better to make sure. Can't put a price on peace of mind.

Yes! I love how their looks change (sometimes - I swear my kittens look exactly the same!) and how their personalities emerge as they get older! Kittens are cute and adorable, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the senior kitties

Adoringangel172 ... I agree with Donutte.  Nala is beautiful and we love seeing pictures as she grows. Please keep us updated as to how she is doing and what the Vet has to say.

Today is a new day and she's right back to her wild, energetic little self! Ate her breakfast eagerly, ate most of her lunch, using glitter box just fine. Playful! Watching out the window in her spot on the back of the sofa! She's attacked all her toys, typical for her. Played with my fiancé, he had the fishing pole toys she loves! She heard some crows and leaped up on her perch! We can always hear the crowd but not see them. Now she's off and running, leaping around! THIS is my kitten! [emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128570[/emoji][emoji]128568[/emoji] Wild girl! I can even see in her eyes that she's feeling better. Must've just been an off day. Ugh, I should be careful what I wish for! She's trying to get behind the curio cabinet where I have my Grandmother's antique carnival glass! She knows that's off limits! [emoji]128570[/emoji]
