Donation Update!!

Having raised $300 in the December Fundraiser, we had to decide which organization to donate the money to. We had four suggestions made by members in the thread and via private messages. It was a tough decision since they were all worthy causes and so we called in the expert! We asked our moderator @MServant  to have her cat Mouse make the final decision. Let me assure you Mouse gave this a lot of thought as he picked one ribbon out of the four and so, our donation went to -

Keller's Kats Rescue

Oh my, I cried reading that. What a great charity, and I hope the other four get healthy and happy very soon!

Best of luck to these four sweeties and kudos to the TCS community for raising this donation money!

Oh, my word. Broke my heart, but am gladdened that TCS is able to help these sweet things. Very grateful to Kellers Kats for rescuing these kittens, and giving them a chance!! Thank you for providing the link!!

That is a fantastic amount of money raised by everyones hard work reviewing in December!   Great work, and a wonderful gesture from you @Anne  in making this donation.   It sounds like the timing of this was just right for this little litter and may this start to 2016 be the start of a wonderful turn around in their young lives.    

Mouse had to work very hard playing with ribbons in order to make the selection, and he is going to be especially happy when I tell him about the little family now being helped as a result of his efforts- AND one being a little gray and white kitten called Mouch   will make it extra special.  

I hope we manage to get some updates on these little guys as they are all adorable - so sad to see them in such  need of care.  

Karla got back to me to confirm the donation was received and had this message which I am forwarding to all TCS members who participated in the fundraiser -

I'm so glad we were able to help a little. Poor little kittens, I hope they have a much better life from now on.

Awww. What a sad story. I just pray our donation was able to give these babies a second chance at life. The are alll so adorable, I just want to adopt them all and show them love and care. Thank you fellow TCS members.

Poor poor babies. One presumes supposed humans caused all this tragedy.

Wow those poor babies!! I cried just reading about their tragic story. Amazing work on raising 300 dollars for them everyone!! I'm sure that will help with their treatment and recovery!!! I'm so happy we all could help with such a great cause.

So sad they were found like that, but so happy they are getting taken care of. Great job TCS!!!

OMG I had to stop crying before I could write this. Trooper looks exactly like my Salem and just thinking about what those poor kittens went through breaks my heart. Thank you donating to them and thank you to the wonderful people taking care of them.

This is wonderful to read.  Though I feel so badly that Trooper did not make it, it is heartening to know the rest of the family is thriving in love and excellent care.

Praise the Lord!!!! I'm relieved for these precious lives! I,unfortunately,was not aware of this tragedy. But am thoroughly grateful to the many gracious hearts within the TCS community. Animals of all kinds are my passion! But cats have always had a very very special place in my heart. This is just so heartbreaking and devastating. It is just not acceptable for any animal to ever suffer such pain. And endure such neglect. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who makes it their life long goal to stop the pandemic that faces so many animals. I am so grateful beyond words. Thank you to all who have donated so that a true difference can be made. From the bottom of my heart,deep thanks and gratitude to YOU ALL!
