The new canned foods?

I bought a case of the chicken fricassee and the majority of my cats didn't like it. A couple took a few licks, but that's about it. I've been giving it to my ferals.

Our cats lapped up the turkey fricassee, which they tried today for first time. I've only given them a small serving each, though, so we'll see how they do with the rest of it. I also got duck/turkey.

We have tried the turkey fricassee, beef & turkey 95% and today the beef fricassee.

Turkey fricassee was a hit for about 2 weeks although I use this food mainly for one cat and she's very, very picky (IBD) so I'm not sure she's the best example. Whatever she devoured yesterday she may try to bury today, however, to her credit, we revisit old foods and they become brand new to her so likely this will still remain on our list.

The beef & turkey 95%, they gave a polite thumbs up - they ate it, didn't lick their bowls clean, but seem satisfied. I bought several cans, the first day went over better than the second.

The beef fricassee, a thumbs down .... Molly took one sniff and ran away, Mikey took a few bites.

We can't do chicken (allergies) and duck is too fatty for my IBD girl.

I tried the Turkey Fricassee with my crew last night. They loved it! They are more pate eaters, but LOVE turkey hearts, so though I'd give this a go. 5 kitties clean off the 2 cans I got to try. Will try the chicken tonight.

Ours are still enjoying the turkey fricassee: Edwina even jumped up on the counter to lap more out of a can I left there, unattended, for a minute too long. The duck/turkey dinner was a little less popular last time, though they did eat it: it's a very smooth pate, which has never been the preference for these two. This may also be a case of user error: I may have watered down the last bunch a little too much. Oops.

@LisaHE, the Bravo Turkey/Duck is pate? This is the one I'm taking about:https://www.chewy.com/cat/bravo-feline-cafe-95-duck-turkey/dp/120584

Or is there another one? The above said "shredded", so I was thinking more consistency of Weruva or something. My cats tend to do better with pates and, seeing how well the liked the Fricassee, I'd love to try a pate!
Yes, it's pate, a very soft, smooth one... how strange that both Chewy and Bravo say it's shreds, though the Bravo FAQ (which is pretty good) sums things up like this, which fits the foods we've bought: The "dinners" which are shown as 95% meat/poultry on the product label are pate’ style and the "Fricassees" are stew-like.

I just finished off that duck/turkey can for them yesterday or the day before and won't be opening another one for a while so can't take a picture! (If you can wait, I'll take a picture for you... we have a long rotation for day food so it won't be for a couple weeks. Just let me know: I'll leave a note on the can!)

That's alright. Now that I know this, I can order a few cans from ItsAPetsLife.com and give them a try before I consider purchasing a case.

Thanks for the clarification, though!!

Glad to hear that. :) Bravo is a good company, they are among a handful of pet food companies offering transparency of their ingredient sourcing to customers, available via "country of origin" links within each canned food product pages.

Thanks for this info, lisahe lisahe , and I know this is an old thread. But I was wondering (1) if you still had Bravo in your kitties' food rotation?, and (2) if so, any possibility for photos of the duck/turkey pate one? I'm having a local independent store send me sample cans of the turkey fricassee and the duck/turkey/liver flavors, so I will soon find out what they look like in case you don't have current or past photos.
My only qualm (before trying this food on the picky eater, which could nix it as an option in any case!) is that Bravo seems expensive.

No, I don't still feed Bravo and, sorry to say, don't have any photos. The cats liked it pretty well but I'm just not thrilled about feeding foods with agar agar. Bravo was in the higher end of the mid-price foods where I was buying it, though I think some flavors cost more than others. It worked out to be a decent deal for us because the cats finished it!

In any case, I hope your cats like it. It's very decent food.
