Receding nose hairline/thin hair around mouth

For about a week around the beginning of December I had to syringe feed my cat. It was really frustrating and I would leave food around my cat's lips to force her to clean it off and get a couple more calories in. Later I found out that could cause dermatitis and that I really should have washed it off. Now, a month later, she's still losing hair on her nose. The area up to about 3-4 mm from the leathery/wet part of the nose is basically bald, and there are some darker red spots that look like irritation or tiny scabs. The area around her mouth has thin hair, too, and redness in some parts. Could it be from getting food squirted on it a month ago? It looks like the nose hairline has receded even more since yesterday, so I think the hair loss is still going on.

I don't see her scratching her face any more than normal.

If it is dermatitis from the food, is there anything I can do about it, or do I just wait for her to heal on her own? Are there other things that could be causing this that I should be worried about?

She's also on prednisolone and omeprazole, if that makes any difference.

Suspected IBD (thread here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/310152/gut-issues-deciding-whether-to-give-my-cat-steroids-prednisolone). I'll try to get a picture when I'm home and there's some sunlight.
