so I have one of the kittens from feral mom flash. She's socialized and enjoys being petted and held. But there's a problem. Flash has likely been trapped before. She won't go near the traps we have tried. The kitten is crying for mom and mom is crying back. The kitten is around 11 weeks old.. What can I do? I have a radio on talk but I don't think it is drowning out the sound of mom.

She won't go near conventional traps, covered or not. The other day I found her laying on top of one!

A friend of mine in rescue used the kitten calling for mom as a lure to get mom to come inside (kittten was in carrier in thee next room) and then she closed the door.  Mom spooked briefly but then settled down, eventually reunited with kitten in a separate room.  They will both be spayed eventually.  Right now both are getting socialized.  Mom like the regular food thing a lot.

To catch kittens, the car purr generator works well if you have a smart phone and can put it on.

Wow, when I played the purr simulator my cats, who are on the bed next to me, both went nuts!

That purr simulator sounds exactly like a real cat. Robin's eyes got huge when he heard it!
