I already save all my coins that I receive in change. So for 2016, I'm going to save all my $1.00 bills that I receive in change, from the bank, etc. Let's see how long I can do it and how much money I can save in one year.

Anybody want to join me in my saving efforts?

That's a good idea!  I don't use cash that much any more, but I'm up for saving the dollars I get back.

I save all my change but each Friday I give my son $1 for school store or ice cream after school lunch.
I'm always breaking 5's to make sure I have singles for the month

When I go to shows and buy a beer, I almost always get mostly singles in change, so I have tons of them. I will try saving any I have left when I get home.

We have starting going to see movies on Tuesdays.  Cinemark has all shows for $6.50 all day and we are planning to get two of the refillable pails for future visits.  Haven't seen Star Wars yet.  The boys went to the big IMAX screen about 40 minutes away last week.

I already save all of my change. I use dollar bills fairly often, so I don't think that would work for me. Every time we would save money in some way by not buying something or not going out to eat, getting a coffee, etc. We would transfer the money into that account. We started off really well doing that last year and then fizzled. Maybe it is time to start it up again.
