I may have fed my kitty spoiled food, help!

I have a 7 year old male, orange Domestic Longhair cat and I'm concerned that I've accidentally made him sick. Yesterday evening I gave him half a can of wet food that had been in the fridge for about a week. I thought it would be okay, but today his appetite is very small (and he's normally ravenous) and he has some loose stool. He DID eat a few little flakes of canned tuna and seemed to love that, but he's not interested in his typical dry or wet food My real concern is that it's unrelated to the old food and maybe he's just sick with something more serious. Thoughts??

I doubt it's the canned food that has been sitting in the fridge for a week. Canned food doesn't spoil that quickly in the fridge. I keep a 3oz can in the fridge and give my cats a small spoonful for a bedtime snack. It takes a week or a little more for the can to be empty. Neither of my cats have had any issues with eating week old food. What brand of canned food was it?

I recommend a trip to the vet. Your cat may be sick and only a vet will be able to diagnose what is wrong. Try to make the appointment within the next week. You don't want your cat to go more than a few days without eating enough food. Until you can get your cat to the vet, keep offering food. Try a different brand of canned food, maybe a super stinky seafood one like Tiki Cat or Weruva or something in gravy. As a temporary food (no more than a few days max), try offering meat based no garlic no onion baby food.
