Lump is about 1.5 inches on the chest, by the left leg. Saw the vet last week, and they biopsied it at it came back as "Suspect mesenchymal neoplasia". I called the recommended oncologist and have to wait until Jan 11th. In everyones personal opinion is this too late??? Should I be contacting other oncologists in the area? Just don't want to have to go in and have the old, " if you had come in sooner" line. Thoughts? Thanks.

Yea, will have to do so on monday... sent them an email a few minutes ago. 24 hour clinic, not sure if they will get back to me though today or tomorrow. Will call them first thing monday. I did call last week to see if I could come in sooner, and they had no appts. or cancellations.

If you are having any doubts, try to get him to see another specialist. The last thing you want to be doing is blaming yourself for not going earlier. I hope and pray your kitty isn't really sick.
