Caught them, and need to get the mom fixed. Anyways I worked out something with a no kill shelter. One is extremely nice, the second one hisses but you can hold him, the third one will tear the crap out of you and bite. Been trying to work with them, but I don't think its helping, and with an ill cat of my own, I don't have the time. The shelter said they had a foster family lined up, but I need to let them know what is going on, did not know before I contacted them. Does anyone think they will take all three, or will I have to take the nasty kitten to the county shelter (kill shelter)? Thanks.

How long ago did you find them?

I would think the foster would take all three. The one that bites is the most frightened probably but is young and there is hope for it settling down with a foster's patience. This kitten would do better staying with the others because it will observe the other kittens and realize people are good. That frightened kitten has NO chance at a kill shelter.

Thanks for rescuing these babies.

Hopefully a family that will foster feral kittens will have the knowledge and time to work with them. Can you talk to them and see? My feral kittens are now 2 1/2 years old and the one that hissed, bit and swatted is my daughters. She is the most loving cat of the whole litter. When I go to my daughters house she comes running to see me and sleeps on my daughters chest every night.

At that age there is still plenty of time to get them used to people. It's really important that they stay together. The one that bites is doing so out of fear and will be even more stressed out if taken away from his/her siblings. If your shelter is used to taking in feral kittens they should understand how to get them socialised. Hopefully the foster family have experience of this.

Thank you for helping them.

Please don't separate them, they need to be together now. My sister fosters and has said on many occasions that the nasty little ones in the beginning turn out to be the sweetest of the bunch. They just need a calm environment
