Clean house like Winchester does and you probably won't need to diet. That includes me.
There ya go!
Even though I didn't do any walking for exercise, I still walked over 15,000 steps both Saturday and Sunday. And that was just from all the housecleaning, laundry, etc. I'm not the most organized cleaner in the bunch, so I tend to walk more than I should, more trips back and forth to the bedroom, more trips down and up the stairs, etc. But the way I look at it, it all adds up in the end.

Unfortunately, I didn't lose any weight throughout it all.

Good morning everyone!

Loss this week: - 1 lbs

Loss this year: - 29 lbs

Not as much loss as I've been used to lately, but my friend and I started a 30 day exercise plan on Friday, and I think my muscles are retaining water from the new harder workouts. I kind of fell off the workout wagon around Saint Patrick's Day, so I haven't been to the gym in a couple weeks. Its amazing how quickly muscles forget. I was going 5 days a week and was never terribly sore afterwards, but now with this new plan I'm so SORE!

I'm also apparently at that fun stage where I physically can't lose 2 lbs a week anymore. Sadly, because if so I'd only 4 weeks from goal weight. I calculated my TDEE and it said if I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week at this weight, I'd have to eat 750 cals a day. Haha, that's obviously not happening. I'd rather not sacrifice my health for a bikini. But it was fun to think I was so close to goal.

On the "non-scale" victory side of things, I bought new jeans yesterday, and I'm officially back in a size 4! My 6's were getting to the point that I'd have to dry them to shrink them so they didn't bag so much. So I'm officially in goal jean size. Still a couple pounds away from them fitting amazingly. And a LOT of crunches and squats away from looking semi decent in a bikini though.

Well I tried that myfitnasspal site and looks like all the fruit I ate is making me FAT! so I am going back to what I used to do years ago=complex carbs and proteins and forget the fruit. If I had stayed with the way I normally do things I am sure I would have knocked off 2 lbs a week. Its now what 5 weeks or 6 weeks in with exercising and gained much more weight than before. of course the muscles are getting bigger which is what I want regardless. Now I have to do more cardio to burn that damn fat off my butt and belly and thighs. I don't have anything to fit in for summer. So I HAVE To slim down. I am bigger now than before. Size 16, but I refuse to buy clothes, if I split a seam again then I will just have to suck it up and drink water and slim fast shakes and shut up and work out harder. I so ticked off! and I am sick again with the crud but that wont stop me. I don't care how ill I feel going to work out every day no matter what. I am SICK of being fat and having nothing to wear. So angry at myself. So this week is heavier weights and longer workouts. Going to add walking after work on top of it. if that means I fall asleep at 6pm so be it. I will loose this weight if its the last thing I do. scale now says 192. NOT HAPPY

I weighed in this morning at 232.4 pounds. Since starting I am down 50.6 pounds.
I also went to walmart yesterday and tried on jeans. I got in an 18. I think they were considered skinny jeans. I am sorry but for me I will not be wearing jeans that fit like that. Just because I could button and zip them does not mean I need to be wearing them in public. There is just somethings that shouldn't be worn in public. At least by me. When they can pass the sit down test I will by an 18.

Congrats on hitting 50 pounds. I wore an 18 last summer but was around 190ish pounds. My stomach is awful, I never lost my post-pregnancy belly. I wear a 14 now and even if I lose all the weight, I don't think I will ever go below a size 12.

Congrats!! I too REFUSE to wear those=they never make the leg opening big enough to fit my legs..I would have to go three sizes bigger just to fit my legs..honestly I don't know how anyone finds these comfortable..give me my bootcut regular fitting pants anyday!

congrats on the weight loss! You guys all inspire me to not give up and throw in the towel..it sure does feel good lifting longer and running longer than when I first started..

Great job on hitting 50!

I think skinny jeans are totally a personal preference. I used to HATE them, and swore to never wear them. Now I live in them, and barely wear boot cut styles. I should really never say never. I used to make fun of my mom's outfits in the early 90's, and now I own similar things. Such is life.

Thank you

I love my boot cut and wide leg jeans. I miss them so much. I can remember in the early 90's saying I would never wear bell bottoms. And in a way that is what they are just not to that extreme. I guess when I get smaller I could start wearing skinny jeans but come on. Someone that is like me that is over 200 that has roll after roll should not wear them. But it depends on your body type.  If I didn't have a spare tire hanging over I would consider them. But until I start toning they are out.

I grew up when if you had an ounce of fat showing you change and cover it up. Now a days you see women rocking yoga pants and tank tops. I can't do it. But I am so glad that this generation has more self confidence and not so ashamed of their-selves. I mean that is what I have seen.

Going to the doctor with a friend who just has a rash. (Sensitive skin, could be anything not life threatening.) I'm going to step on their scale at the doctor! Dreading it bc even when I was very thin, doctor's scales always seem to weigh heavy. I remember being hysterical and inconsolable when I weighed 139 bc it was so close to 140! Ha! I wish now! I will post my honest, "heavy" weight. Try not to threaten suicide or I'll end up in psychiatric unit. I'll keep it together and slowly die inside. I know it's going to be over 150 lbs. for sure bc my scale is reading 150. [emoji]128549[/emoji] For "breakfast" I ate 4 Ferrero Rochers, coffee with milk, and spoonfuls of peanut butter. Typical and I wonder why scale just climbs and climbs. [emoji]128542[/emoji] I'm making pork roast for supper.

158! I weigh what I did when I was 9 months pregnant. Wth! Ok, I had lightweight jacket, I am wearing pretty heavyweight denim jeans though, Converse sneakers so just normal shoes and a lighter sweater. So I'm guessing about 5 lbs of clothing & shoes. 153. [emoji]128542[/emoji] 5'8. 43 years old. Size 10 Long jeans today so I'm comfortable and can eat & breathe! I've gained 35 lbs over 15 years but 14 lbs in just 1 year. I know I've been less active but my diet is actually better as far as less fast food than ever. I used to eat fast food 4-6 times a week, often for 2 meals out of the day.
Well, this is random but I just bought a stroller for Nala Ava Marie from Amazon! Lol. Crazy? Maybe. But I'll have my walking partner and she will be safe! And it's pink! The color I've designated to my little mean, beautiful cat! [emoji]128149[/emoji][emoji]128151[/emoji][emoji]127872[/emoji]

The last few days I have really been struggling. Its like I am not hungry but I want to eat. Today already I have had close to 1000 calories and I have only been up 4 hours. My calorie limit is 1500.

I have been so stressed for the last few days that all I want to do is cry. I feel like a ticking time bomb about t explode.

ok I just looked up the side effects of the medication I am on. Hunger is one of them. Along with shakiness and being tired. I have had all of these along with headaches and I have been very agitated. I am starting to breath better but I have until sunday to finish the meds.

That's awful for you. You have been doing so well it's unfair. Can you fill up on food that is low in calories? Snack on some dip and veggie sticks? Drink lots of water. Or just go with it a little until Sunday but don't use it as an excuse to eat junk. Hang in there. You will get through this. Breathing is the most important thing full stop so that needs to be your priority. Hugs, hugs, hugs.

Hi all, I lost 5 pounds in 8 days. All I'm doing is 4oz protein and 4oz vegetables. No bread no pasta and no oil or butter. Drink lots of water almost a gallon. I am 5'4 140 pounds trying to get down to 125 pounds and I am 49 years old. I am doing yoga and walking for half hour.

Yesterday I hit a low on the medicine. All I did was eat all day despite being so full I felt like I could bust. By the end of the night I was having chest pain, another side effect. Then in middle of the night I woke up so sick to my stomach it felt like morning sickness. So today I didn't do the inhaler at all and I feel so much better. I got 1350 calories in for the day. By 12 yesterday I had 1500 and I quit counting. If I felt short of breath today I went to the bathroom and did a steam treatment. It worked without nasty side effects.

I know my weight will be bad this Sunday. But I will get it off by the following week.

Yes that's right. Make getting well your priority.

My weight is going down but slowly. I keep eating chocolate because it's there even though I don't want it.

Monday morning here. 1/2 kg lost for me and 1/2cm off my waist.
I'm fatigued from my exercise and that = FAT for me. I haven't been sleeping well and by Friday I only wanted to eat muffins and apple pie so I'm having a rest week from exercise. I'm cutting my calories right back so I'm hoping to get my waist down 1-2 cm.
Good luck everyone. You are doing great.
