I could not do the floor exercises. I dont have enough breathe to jump down in pushup mode and stand up. i did steps inplace of jumps when i ran out of breathe.

i like these workouts because its hard to squeeze 1 hour into 30 min. so these are combo exercises.

I didnt add more weights-I didnt have time to assemble my temp weights. So I did more squats/lunges but still have knee pain so it stops me from doing more. I did some jumping jacks and that didnt seem to bother it-its the lunges when I step my food back that has the knee issue-not sure why it makes it hurt more but I remember when I ski I got the same kind of pain so I gave up downhill skiing-although I was a strictly green trail=only once in a blue moon I would go down a black diamond but only if there was another trail crossover. Yep I am a chicken. always afraid my skiis would crossover and I would fall..

4 hours sweating with wood tossing, after that 1 hour and 23 minute run, over 10km, but I did walk part of the muddy places, I ran tarmac and icy sections.

I like those trail running shoes that I bought, grip is ok and those are so nice to run, no blisters or anything of such issues. I also have Nike running socks, which perhaps help a bit too, but I can run as long as I have breath/legs/time and don't need to worry about getting blisters.

Still need to learn how to tighten shoe laces, I tend to put them too tight still.

Cardio for me today. I did 1/2 oval jogs and 1/4 oval sprints for 20 mins. Then I did 20 burpees, 20 squat thrusts and 20 mountain climbers and jogged home. Took the human kids with me so they rode their bikes there and back.

I did an hour of yoga this morning then went out for a 20 minute jog. Well, a ten minute jog with a 5 minute walk up the steep bit and then another ten minute jog. Got to ease myself back into it slowly, it's been a while.

But yay, my new running shoes got their first outing!

todays sweat program-I found a 10" high block to use for a step so maybe I can start some step aerobics or at least step up and down. No jumps though. I just raced up and down the stairs at work three times. 4 flights one way. that got my heart up.

then hung myself from a benchvice and hanging onto the handle of my toolbox-I did 15 vups with my nknees to my chest then 10 leg lifts while holding my arms straight-no stomach pains the next day from these ab exercises. its really hot today. 65. Very muggy in the shop. thank GOD for Airconditioning! So lets see how I do this lunchtime..

Keep up the good work!

Yesterday 4 hours of wood tossing.

Today 4 hours of wood tossing and 24 minute bike ride.

Tomorrow I believe it is again 4 hours.

It is like 20-40 pounds weights, picking them up, moving them sideways, turn and push forward, but also many other moves of pulling, pushing, curls etc.

It is not very hard for me, but duration tests stamina a bit, especially when doing many days.

Yay!!! Good work everyone :clap
Norachan you are doing great with your jogging. Must be the new sneakers ;) !!!
Yesterday was Friday. Last day of the week again. That comes around so fast. I did my triceps and abs. I added on 50 chin in sit ups. Thought I would be sore this morning but no. Maybe later?? Oh and I did 50 burpees. They use core muscles but probably more legs.
It will be a lazy day for me today.
Get going you guys  I'll sit back and watch :lol3:
Enjoy your exercise

Thank you @Tammat. Yes, I think it must be  because of my new magic sneakers. I managed another 20 minute run today. Feels so good to be running again. I've decided I have to buy a new sports bra soon though.

Great work everybody
I am trying out for " Mother of the year" award :lol3: I took my kids for a walk today and then I got them to ride their bikes whilst I did my Sunday 20 min jog. I've been taking them on flat rides but today I went on one of my routes with a hill. There was complaining from them and me growling for them to hurry up. ;) I much prefer to go alone but I've got to get these kids moving. At their Age I was out riding my bike for hours and I remember going so fast down hills it was scary. It was freedom and most of all it was fun.

When I was ten years old my folks let me ride my little girly 2 wheeler pedal bike to the local clam shack 5 miles away. This was something I did every sat. And at 10 yrs. old! all I could think about were Clam Haven's grilled Hot Dogs and fries/O-rings-and mom would ask me to get her some full belly clams..so I would ride back with her food tied to the handlebars after I devowered those 2 hot dogs n fries..so I guess I am still like this. Last week when I got Chinese food-we walked the 1.5 miles to downtown Farmington and got the Chinese food to go. Walking back to the house eating pork ribs out of the carton-that was the most fun! so yep at that age I was always on the move. Of course my dad didn't let me watch TV unless it was raining..so if its nice-TV is off at 9am and I stayed out and gone all day. Riding my bike. Shooting hoops. Or reading a book in the woods where he couldn't yell at me. of course we lived right across the street from a convenience store...that was hard to leave the devil dogs alone and candy.

In my early teens I used to ride my bike to school and that too was 6 miles away. Then high school was 5 miles. I hated riding the bus so if it was nice out I would ride my bike. Took half an hour but so did the bus ride. And it was quiet. those were the good days..no working..no money stress. Just be a kid.

Good job Tammat to getting those kids off their butts. I too used to pedal as hard as I could going down the hill. Mom used to drive the car next to me to see how fast I was going-I couldn't get it over 25-30 mph. But I sure tried. If I knew how to put a larger gear disk on the chain maybe I could get it to go faster..in the later years on route bypass 28 from Derry NH into Manchester NH is this huge huge hill-oh that was fun!!! I have pedaled up it but not the entire hill...the view at the top of the hill before descending of the lakes on both sides. Gosh I miss riding my bike. I wanted to do that this weekend but its snowing out. I don't have a garage to store it so I don't want mud and rain in my office. Soon I will get that bike back out and get moving...

Yesterday I did an hour long workout. 30 min high intensity aerobics with jumps and leaps then 30 min of arms with same weights. I was following along one video on YouTube but they were yacking too much in between sets I had to change it..then another one I didn't want to do floor exercises..was looking for the type of workouts I did in the 80s and 90s where it was mostly running and kicks type. Finally just made up my own moves after 15 min of trying to find something to follow along. The arm exercises I did before the aerobics..tried a few new moves but didn't care for the way it was going so went back to the original types I was doing before.

Got to figure out schedule for the gym-I am running out of heavy things to be able to lift-up to 23 lbs now. I love lifting heavy weights. Not sure why?

Todays workout is going to be primarily legs-weights with squats and lunges..hopefully my knee will cooperate. the boyfriend said maybe I should wrap it up or use a knee brace..so that's something else I will be on the lookout for but not sure if I can find one wide enough to fit over my calves.

Did another 25 min of cardio type. some squats and lunges. the knee doesn't feel too bad. Only did 10 lunges so hopefully my leg muscles build up to support the knee. I can only do 4 of those burpee things. I just don't have enough breathe to go from standing to plank to standing-unless I rest quite a bit..

That's great  ease into it. You don't want to injure it coz then you won't be able to do anything. Take care.

I did back and shoulders with Rohan and dropped my car in for a service so I'll get a few walks in with the kids in tow. This is the second week of school holidays. There has been lots of bickering today between them. I'm hiding in my bedroom :lol3:. The sun is shining though so I've got to get back out there. These nice days are numbered.

I ran for 20 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday I tried a longer run. I went for my usual 90 minute walk but tried to run for ten minutes then walk for ten minutes all the way. I think there was probably more walking than running as I walked up all the steep parts of the trail, but I managed to work up a good sweat anyway.

Feeling it in my legs today.

I've just done an hour of yoga this morning.

Keep going everyone.

I did my legs this evening. I did power squats and power lunges. I was reading about the 100 burpee challenge and I've been wanting to try it out. I did 100. My legs didn't even hurt after a while they were numb. In the end I was just going through the motions. Hopefully that will have burnt up a bit of Easter indulgence fat [emoji]128077[/emoji]

Chest and biceps with Rohan today. I didn't sleep well last night so I've felt tired today. I went for a slow 20 min jog with the kids on bikes. The youngest one is learning how to pedal like mad and she loves it. She also managed to get up one hill. Yippee. I'm looking forward to sleeping tonight.
Keep going everybody.

I did an hour of yoga on Tuesday. Today I rode my bike for about 30 minutes. I really felt like going for a run, but I had to start work earlier than usual.

I hope I'll have time tomorrow.

I have been moving wood 4 to 5 hours a day, today I did only 3 hours, but much more intensive and after that 36 minute jog.

I feel that I need more salt, I have been sweating so much that it is probably safe to get over 10 grams now.

I did cardio today. I did 1/4 oval sprints- well as fast as I could anyway;) and at each 1/4 I did exercises. Burpees, push ups, squat thrusts then push ups again. After chest day yesterday those push ups were exhausting. It's usually the burpees that slow me down. 20 mins in total and then a slow jog home.
Keep going everybody :high5:
