2 hours walk today, along a new hiking trail. We had to keep going fairly quickly as it we got cold as soon as we slowed down. Quite tired now.

1 hour of firewood cutting and splitting, it was too cold for chainsaw as it started acting up again, only -32C (-25.6F) and there was light wind also, which might add bit of windchill to that.

Instead of riding to shop I did laundry today, good weather to dry laundry outdoors, maybe tomorrow I visit a shop, I have not much to eat because of that though and it is almost as cold tomorrow as it was today.

Cats wanted to visit outdoors despite the weather, sure they did try their best, but 10 minutes was enough and they gave up for the day, instead hunting outdoor creatures they decided to snuggle into near ceiling cabinet at fireplace room where their bed is, no interest to run anywhere now.
They do observe lazily with half closed eyes that I keep supplying fireplace with plenty of firewood though!

3.75 miles walking today during my lunch. It's cold, but sunny. I'm not going to complain today....it was just nice getting outside after a really busy morning.

After few cold walks body learns new normal and then when temps go up it will feel hot while before it felt bit chilly, so getting out is good, no matter how cold it feels.

If just my toes would stop being frozen blocks of ice bit faster than 1 hour in very warm bed, but that is winter time normal.

Rode bike to shop today, it was -35C (-31F) at the morning and it was briefly -30C during afternoon, but again is -32C and getting colder.

Bicycle seems to have less cold tolerance than I have, gear changing was not working, can't blame it really, with windchill it was around -56F at the morning when I did ride to shop and back, it took 50 minutes, clothes froze so that it was bit difficult to move.

It should start to get warmer from tomorrow, I do hope so, as carrying 4 times 35kg of firewood into house and feeding it to fireplace starts to be bit of work, maybe I should count it as an exercise as it is total about 160 meters of walking with that kind of weight?

Cats were examining ice pileup at front door, it seems that seals leak a bit and despite room being very warm there was still good chunk of ice forming to corner of the door.

I did abs today. Ouch. I didn't get much sleep last night and it was so tempting to skip my workout but I didn't. I pushed through it even though it hurt and I'm glad I did.

1 hour of bicycling, it was only -18C and even with good over 10mph wind it felt bit too warm as I got used to colder weather and over dressed.

I haven't been exercising at all recently. I started feeling ill on Tuesday evening, went to the hospital and was told I have something called ichouen, which translates as Inflamed Intestines. I guess that's the same as gastroenteritis?

I haven't been able to eat for a few days so I've just been taking my medicine and lying on the sofa with the cats. Hopefully I'll be back in action soon.

Keep going guys, you'll have to be extra active to make up for me slacking off.

Great start to the year everybody:clap:

I'm not sure where I left off. We came to the beach yesterday and I didn't get a chance to train before we left. I was grumpy. I went home. Did my chest and triceps, slept in my own bed and got up early and did a leg workout then drove back to my family at the beach. Now I'm not so grumpy :lol3:
I've got a full week of workouts done.

Glad you're feeling better!

I ended up coming home from work yesterday morning. My stomach was really acting up and I was spending more time in the restroom than working. Came home at 10:30, took The Beast out for a quick walk, gave everybody a snack, went to bed, and never got out of bed until Rick came home.

And he was also sick when he got home, not feeling well at all. We ended up in bed quite early last night, both of us, with The Beast and the cats.

I finished the first 5 days of t25. Today is stretch day but I am going to skip it because I have a lot of stuff to do and then going away for the rest of the weekend.

I wish it goes away soon!

Forecasted weather was -17C (1.4F) here, but reality has been -26C (-14.8F), so I have been mostly feeding bottomless pit with firewood and using fan to melt pipes.

It was +7C (19.4F) indoors when I woke up, I have heard that lower temperature helps you burn off some calories, but I don't know, just temperature is not staying up during the night, I would need to constantly keep fire going in order to have good temperature all the time.

Floor is actually below freezing at mornings.

Next week should be bit less cold, so I'm looking forward of that, maybe I get even some workouts in then.
