So I did end up burning 2300 net calories in 3.2 hours, bike ride, running and some resistance training for upper body to finish it off.

Kind of funny when your tracker shows over 3000 calories burned and over 20 000 steps taken by noon :D

An hour of yoga and a 45 minute cat walk today.

@LTS3  if you have trouble balancing try fixing your gaze on something that is not moving. Make sure the room isn't too dark. It's much harder to balance if you can't see what you're looking at.
I actually was staring out the window at a nearby building. A much better view than the room the day before when it was this gray blocky wall thing right outside the window. Balancing on my left foot is tricky now because I had surgery on that foot and have screws inside. Maybe I was just tired in general because the I had been working since 6am and the yoga was at 4pm so it was a super long day for me with very little sitting down. I'm not sure when the next yoga class at work is.

See, stretching is important, these are stretches I most often do so that I don't end up into box with BatKitty, that is what happens if you don't stretch :) :

Might be that my drawing sucks, but I think at least something of the idea is shown there.

Remember, kitties are watching, no cheating possible! :D

Can't remember if I posted yesterday or not. Anyway, did nothing as I was just having a really bad day and ended up going to bed as a method of self preservation :anon::sigh::frusty:

Nothing so far today (and it's 7.30pm already :sigh: ). Hoping to do some yoga in a bit, but it depends how dizzy/nauseous I am :slant:

Must do better tomorrow

I did my chest and back with Rohan yesterday. He's given me cardio to start doing. I'm going to start small and work my way to longer sessions.
foxxycat foxxycat You might like fartlek running. Same sort of idea as JTbo suggested. Sprint for intervals and jog or walk in between. You will actually get better fat burn than running for 20 mins straight. I go to an oval and sprint 1/4 oval and jog 1/2 oval for 20 mins.

I'm sorry to hear you're still feeling so rough. Going to bed sounds like the best idea. Did you know that's why cats sleep so much? If they're asleep they are safe and stay out of danger.

One hour of yoga today.

Going to watch the fireworks with some friends this evening, which will mean an hour round trip on my bike (but probably lots of beer too.)

I tried some yoga last night before bed. I didn't use my mat because I didn't want to get more red cat hair all over it (Leroy
). I did a few poses that didn't involve balancing on a knee. I think I need to get an 10 minute yoga app or something to help me go through the poses. I'll try for another few minutes of yoga today. Might head to the ftiness center next door to do that with my mat and no cats threading their way around my arms and legs.

LTS3 LTS3 - which yoga poses are you struggling with? There are a ton of videos on pose breakdowns on YouTube. This playlist is just one example:-

I'm still struggling :sigh::anon: Even managed to fall of the loo this morning, and hit my hipbone hard on the sink pedestal :jaw::cringe::doh3: (don't ask me how - I have absolutely no idea :confuse3: ). Did a few minutes (max 5) of yoga this afternoon when I got up (spent the best part of the day in bed again :anon: ). MUST try and do better :nono:

Please be careful!! I know you are, but sometimes you just have to give in and wait it out until the flare is over. I am sorry you fell.. wow.. you could have been light-headed  along with the pain, and just missed holding onto something.

((hugs))

45 minutes of Nordic walking at the morning and 20 minutes Nordic blading (I used inline skates I bought 11 years ago, must of been 3rd time I use them) at the evening.

Nordic blading is like skating with inline skates, but using those skiing poles, or more accurately Nordic walking poles, so it is bit like skiing except done on tarmac and using inline skates or that is how I do it.

It has intensity of bit less than running, but then again it uses whole body instead of just legs.

Nordic walking is bit more than walking but lot less intense than running or Nordic blading, however it still engages abs and arms, so it is tougher than walking.

There are lot of videos on YT if you are interested, I guess it was more of 90's thing and not so common these days, but it is very efficient, quite dangerous (it is very easy to fall down) and completely impossible to do safely where there are hills or crowds.

We do have hills so there is only short stretch of road where I can skate, but plenty for me to get a sweat.

It's Saturday. I always work my MIL shop for her and then I'm going to Melbourne this afternoon. Rohan was not happy that I missed doing my squats last Saturday so I did them this morning before work. I think I hate early mornings but actually I trained very well. Lol!! I'm so happy that it's done and I can have an easy afternoon.
Keep going everybody.

Everything that involves standing on my left leg or on one knee
Tree pose, warrior, lunge, etc. Maybe with practice I'll get better.

Are there any good Android yoga apps out there that doesn't require web access? I don't want to use up my limited data plan. If I take my work laptop to the ftiness center I most likely can't access the building's wireless and I'm not sure if my wireless from across the way can reach the fitness center
Might have to do yoga in my unit with at least one cat getting in the way

@LTS3  It's a universal law that any attempt to do yoga with a cat in the room will lead to cat hair all over your yoga mat and possibly claw marks all over it too.

30 minutes run today, in an attempt to burn off last night's beer and potato chips dinner.

gym last night. did the treadmill and did 2.8 miles watching judge Judy. Then the elliptical for 20 minutes watching the news-this time did sprints. got 1.8 miles done in 20 minutes. I was moving it. 1/2 mile in 4:45 minutes.

Then hit the smith machine and did chest press. then calf raises and those side pulls  I call them. you stand and have a weight in one hand and bend the opposite side-they work the sides of your abs. did those inbetween sets of chest press. 55-60-65-70 10 reps each. I stopped there-it was 5:45pm and I got there at 4ish so had enough.
