Good job everyone!
I decided I am going to do weights tonight. It's so stinking hot that I won't be able to work outside so I will hit the gym after work. And do squats/chest press/bar bell rows/calf raises. No Judge Judy on this weekend so nothing to watch on tv but I will still do 15 min to warm up. Keep going everyone! Don't forget to get enough minerals if you are sweating when you workout-its so hot now and I worry that we will forget to hydrate properly. Plain water isn't cutting it for me anymore so I drink PowerAde/Gatorade. Too lazy to make my own. But the cramps calmed down the more OJ and Gatorade I drink.

If I find myself sweating a lot, I am drinking the SmartWater, unflavored. It is supposed to help with the electrolytes.

It was my recovery day so I did 36 minutes of running at 6.5 minutes / km pace (roughly 10.5minutes / mile).

Also got stung by kind of wasp right when going for a run, reached my pocket for keys and something stung my finger, never saw or heard anything but it hurt so much and finger became so big that could not be anything else.

It did not affect running though.

Just got 20 min of aerobics on my break. Cranking the AC at work in my room. lights out and music blaring. Everyone left already. everyone worked half day but I am sticking around. too hot. Did 5 straight minutes of sprinting back and forth
and jumping jacks then my usual aerobics side lunges etc. got a good sweat going on. Gonna change my clothes. And rinse and repeat at 4pm, I definitely feel like I have longer distance to do high intensity without fatiguing out like I used to after a minute. Takes a long time to build the endurance but I am amazed how far I have come! Keep going everyone! Remember don't do it all at once!

Add 1 minute a day to your cardio=Then STOP! Soon you will see yourself adding 7 minutes to your time a week. In a month that is 20-30 minutes added on to your workout. Slow and steady wins the race everyone!

The show biggest looser is where I learned this adding on 1 minute a day. It works!

I didn't train on Friday. I have a cold and my resting heart rate went up so I had a rest. This week is a complete rest week from the weights for me. I plan on going for some good walks though and maybe some jogs by the end of the week. I went for a nice walk today. Nothing very strenuous it was nice to get out in the fresh air :)

4 miles on the treadmill this morning.

Hot and humid, even after the t-storms last night. It's going to be ugly today with the humidity.

Didn't do anything yesterday...unless you count cleaning the cottage kitchen and bathroom for new guests!

40 mins yoga today. Wanted to do more, but my body wasn't cooperating (fibro flare :rolleyes2 ).

Will do better tomorrow... :cross:

Cleaning the house is a lot of work. It does count as exercise...and I counted it as exercise when I did Weight Watchers, years ago....

This is true, I start to sweat even thinking of cleaning day :hide:

Yesterday I did cut lawn, about 1 hour and also I did fell couple of smaller trees, which I also did prune and cut to proper size with a chainsaw, which I did repair yesterday morning.

I slept 12 hours and have been up from 4 am now, managed to fix UPS for computer with all the cats helping a lot and now sauna starts to be ready, not sure what I will do after sauna, but I'm out of tuna so at least some shopping trip is in order.

Maybe rest day from exercising, as Polar website suggests.

I went for 2 walks today. The first one was 35 mins and the second was 20 mins. It was a gorgeous winters day :)

I did an hour of yoga this morning and a 90 minute walk this afternoon.

So hot and humid here, I break into a sweat whenever I start moving. JTbo, what's the temperature like where you are? I might come and stay with you if this heat keeps up.

Man, it's really muggy, even in the basement. All that humidity takes a lot out of me. I was going to go for 4 miles, but I couldn't. It's a mess down there, even with the dehumidifiers running. Ick.

19 degrees (C), gentle breeze blowing, some clouds traveling at sky, perfect weather really to lay on grass and look clouds, listen sounds of animal life around you, cats rolling on their backs on grass etc.

Instead I chose to cut and install new interior wood sheets, that was bit of a sweat, then after that I did ride to city and back with bicycle (60km / 37.3 miles), it might be good that someone would be here to tell me what rest days are and what they are not :wife:

2500 calories did say good bye from today's movement, but I really should be careful not to overdo it again.

I cleaned the cottage again today (one lot of guests out and another lot in on the same day - always makes for a harder clean :slant: ), and did 35mins yoga. Wanted to do more, but the cottage alone finished me today :sigh: So sick of back spasms and all the other fibo **** :frusty:

Sounds like everyone else is doing great  Keep it up guys :sheep:

I went for a walk along this track I only discovered 2 weeks ago. It's not half as pretty as Norachans scenery but it's still much nicer than walking the streets. It's so close to our CBD but you would think you were bushwalking. It took 1 hr 6 mins. When I get over this cold/ flu I have then I'm going to run it. I can't wait to see how long it takes.
