I took a chicken breast from the freezer last night. We'll do it on the grill and have a salad to go with it.

I'm trying to figure that out.. I'm not too hungry had a big lunch at our local pizza buffett  so maybe triscuits with salami and cheese. Or a banana and crunchy peanut butter sandwich.

Well, that didn't work. Turns out the chicken breast was actually two small pork chops. (And that's what having a freezer fiasco will do; some of my labels have come off the packages!) I swear it was a chicken breast. So we had the pork chops instead. And it was raining, so I did the chops on the indoor grill. Rick had his with a baked potato; I had mine with a salad.

And then I went downstairs and got (what I definitely know is) a chicken breast out of the freezer for dinner tonight. It's been raining pretty much most of the night and is still raining as I type. If it gets nicer outside tonight, we will grill.

It's a kind of Irish potato pancake. Hmmm....grated potato, mashed potato, flour, egg or egg substitute, baking powder.....thinking of using up a green onion in it that's probably nobody's idea of traditional.

some chicken salad (waldorf style -- with diced celery, apple, and chopped walnuts), some mini pretzels, and either/both strawberry jello and 2 or 3 vanilla sandwich cookies.

I made general tso chicken stir fry over brown rice. We had to eat at 4:30 because we had to be somewhere for 5:30. Now I'm hungry.
