A large omelet with ham and cheese, a sliced strawberry on the side ~~ only one because it was huge!

I'm thinking about taking some sausage and lentil soup out of the freezer. It's a cold raw day and soup would be good.

My GF stopped in on her way to Virginia yesterday (she's from Connecticut) and so we went out to dinner. You know, buffets are an awful lot of carbs. I really didn't think I ate that much and I drank unsweetened tea, but I gained a whole pound, even with walking six miles yesterday. It was probably the chunk of white coconut dessert that put me over the top.

So vegetarian burgers and salads for tonight to get me back on track.

I'm guessing a lot of it was salty and it is water weight.

It's either going to be lentil soup from the freezer again or littleneck clams.

I wondered. It didn't disappear over night either, darn it.

Rick bought those hoagies again today, benefits the person who has cancer (I talked about it last week, I think).

I had 4 slices of matza. All with butter,2 with marmite, one with peanut butter and jam and one with lemon curd.
All rather pleasant. My tummy wasn't in the mood for a heavy cooked meal.

I cooked the chicken from the chicken soup I'd made in a tomato sauce with soya, teryaki and brown sugar plus pepper and hot chilli flaked. Was very nice.
We finished the last bits with mashed potatoes.

I'm debating. It could be a ceasar salad with scallops, homemade sauce with zucchini noodles and turkey sausage or sausage and lentil soup. I think that is the meals for the rest of the week. I just have to decide what is for today.

That all sounds delicious!

I absolutely love scallops. Did you get the bay ones or the sea ones, and how do you cook them. I just do a quick sauté on both sides, with butter, s+p, and a squeeze of lemon...so sweet.

never had zucchini noodles. I do not have a spriralizer.

Send some leftovers my way!!!

I have been buying the sea ones lately and I do a heavy sear on each side. I do like my scallops cooked just a tad more. I'm not a fan of them being raw in the middle. I usually use just a tiny bit of oil in the pan with pepper and garlic.
