I made hamburgers on the bbq with cheese, lettuce, pickles and hamburger sauce (which is like big Mac sauce). They were really good. We had caesar salad with real bacon and homemade croutons with it.

Last night, we ended up checking out a new Mexican restaurant in town. The food was quite good and they were crowded, so I'd say they're going to do well. They can't sell alcohol yet, but they did apply for a liquor license. Once they can start selling alcohol, we'll go back and I'll check out their margaritas. I paid for dinner and Rick chose where to go. He had given me his option for the new phone and he went to the mall with me to look for new walking shoes.....he deserved something after all that. And it's the first we'd gone out to dinner in a while, so it was nice.

Tonight, we're visiting with friends. My GF is ordering pizza and wings and I'm taking strawberry shortcake for dessert. We'll stop at the store on the way in to grab a small container of vanilla bean ice cream and maybe some Smirnoff Ice (black label). She needs to update her virus protection on her laptop and doesn't know how to do it. Somewhere along the line, that's become my job.

Sausages, eggs, fries and fried onion.

My daughter's husband cane back from England with a jar of lemon curd for me. Sooooo good. I haven't had any for 50 years.

I have a small piece of beef that I need to get used, so will throw that into our small crock pot with my seasonings and some frozen (thawed a bit) crushed tomatoes. When we get home later on today, I'll cook noodles and we can have the beef over the noodles. I'm thinking of either some peas or some green beans to go with.

Sounds good. I would add cheese, lettuce, and chips with it!!!
i'd had a very long day, but needed to eat something. so it was a quick meal for me, though it did taste very good!

i'll have a(nother) smoked honey turkey with mayo sandwich and some of the potato salad i finished making today to go with it.

Hamburger, avocado (if it's still good), Ugli fruit.

What is lemon curd?

Margret
It's a spread made with lemons. No curds in I don't think. As passover starts Friday night, I'll spread it on my matza. This is the worst of our Jewish holidays.
