I have one cat, her name is actually Kitty. My husband and I adopted her a little over a year ago, when she was 6 months old. She easily should have been 6-8 lb, but she was only 2 lb. I was looking on facebook and saw someone trying to find a new home for her. I didn't plan on getting a cat but something told me I needed to go get her. Once I got her home I realized how underweight she was. I asked the man how much he fed her and he only fed her 1/4c of food a day. She was limping a lot so I thought he had injured her, but it turned out her muscles had wasted away so much she couldn't bear weight on the leg. Now she is a very healthy teenage cat who weighs a whopping 18 lb. She is such a loving cat, and regularly cuddles up to our 7 month old baby.
