Still seems to be making her nest (I'm assuming sinc ebb the blankets are moved around and she took another small towel into her box last night), guess she's trying to get it just right. Still eating well too. I could definitely see the babies wiggling around this morning which I haven't been able to tell for sure before.

When did you first notice the kittens moving?  She should give birth 2 - 3 weeks after you first see that.  If you are just beginning to see it, you have a ways to go.

Actually see them move for sure this morning but she is a long haired cat and seems to constantly be purring which could be confused with movement. I have been able to feel them for longer. I know she is at least 7 weeks based on when we got her and how long the previous person had her. Our vet seems to think it will be any day based on the size of the kittens when she was feeling her abdomen 2 weeks ago (she said most likely within the next 2 weeks).

her nipples seem very dry, is there anything I can put on them such as coconut oil or something that is safe since she seems to be grooming a lot more today?
her other side sticks out too but for some reason it doesn't look like it as much in the picture. Anyway she has been eating more today than most days, do they typically increase food intake prior to labor or just more hungry today?

You can rub olive or vegetable oil on her nipples and tummy. Those are safe to consume and will help with chafing and cracking.

Pregnant cats eat quite a bit in general as the babies grow. It's not a sign of impending labor though. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She is definitely getting her milk in although not dripping any that I have noticed. Obviously our vet was a little off when she said based on kitten size when feeling she thought within 2 weeks...that was 3 1/2 weeks ago. At the very least she is 8 weeks right now so we are definitely close!

Well she didn't all of her wet food this morning, hasn't touched the dry all day and only ate a few bites of the wet food this evening when she usually eats it all within 5 minutes!

It could be a sign that her body is heading into labor soon. Time will tell!

She is definitely in labor! She seems to be favoring her bed over the 2 large boxes I have in the room for her but she can't really stretch out in her bed, will this be a problem?

Probably not for the delivery, but when she's all done you may want to move her and her babies. She'll want to stretch out when she's nursing eventually. For now I'd leave her be. I hope it goes well!

As soon as mom will let him. If mom is busy having another kitten, it can wait. Otherwise, put him to a nipple.

Sometimes, if the babies are coming rapidly, they all have to wait. My cat had hers an hour apart each, so she nursed in between. Do you have a heat source, such as a heating pad set on low under a blanket, for the babies to lie on while mom is delivering? Or a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel and placed nearby? Or a warm rice sock ...

Yes, warm rice sock with blanket over it. Baby 2 is out!
