Relaxing after a morning at the shelter and trying to figure out how we're going to get meds into a vicious cat who's already sent several people, including me, to the ER. What a way to start the new year!

Rick just brought Jackie back inside from her morning bathroom trip. I gave everybody their breakfast, got the dishes into the dishwasher, and am hanging out back here in the computer room with my cup of coffee. Rick, Jackie, Mollipop, Muffin, and BooBoo all went back to bed for a bit of a nap.

So far, just sitting here in front of the computer with my coffee, still in my nightgown. Hubby got up early, made the coffee and left. This is the last day of deer season. He wants to get one bad for our freezer. Later I will cook ham and black eyed peas, also some sweet potatoes.
just getting ready to add more wood to the stove, then make jaspurr's and my breakfasts.
8:45am. Was still laying in bed, trying to go back to sleep. Only got about 6-6&1/2 hrs. But my brain is up, so just grabbed my phone to see what was going on here.

I'm doing some Housekeeping here in the Lounge. 
Just made some flowering tea for the first time. The set was a gift from a client. I love it! It doesn't say what kind it is, but totally smells like jasmine, which is one of my favorite teas!!

I've been cleaning up after Eclipse who has morphed into destructo kitty this morning. Knocked over a glass of water all over the floor and some magazines and mail. Then he knock a box off another table. And I saw him biting the fake Christmas tree! Now he is chasing Fluffy upstairs. I'd better get off the computer before he sits on the keyboard and changes things - again. I still don't get emails from TCS anymore.
Beautiful! I have one of those sets, too. It's neat watching the flower open up when the hot water is added.
On my second cup of coffee, watching the cats wind down from their "tornado mode". It's usually just the kittens but sometimes Penelopy joins in on that particular fun. Though she's still recovering so not so much lately. And checking out the health forum here. And now, Oliver is pleading to go upstairs. It wouldn't be morning if he didn't.
It's chilly here this morning, 34F, so I'm sitting by a fire with my coffee, playing around online, watching news on TV, and snuggling with kitties.
Im sitting on the couch with my son in my lap watching The Octonauts with my kids. DD put my Happy New Year crown on my head & she is wearing hers.
The cats are hanging nearby because they want food!

i'm just relaxing here on TCS briefly before i start in on the last bits of stuff i need to do today.
Relaxing in between chores (removing decorations) and making supper...
whew--worked up a sweat taking them all down. Why is it, I always have more to store than I do when I take them out of storage???

Sitting here drying off after my shower, waiting for the clothes to be washed so I can throw them in the dryer. Need to pill/treat the cats still, just got home about an hour ago. Oh, and take my own meds on top of that.

Sitting here wondering what in the world I am doing sitting here! LOL It is 3:30 A.M. and I should have been in bed hours ago!
With that being said, I am grabbing my Boys and crawling in bed with my book and hope to fall asleep soon. I have a moderately hectic day ahead.

i woke up early, so i'm 'starting my day right' by relaxing here at TCS.
The cats had me awake around 3:30 or so: BooBoo presented us with a hair ball, Molli and Muffin got into a tiff in the bedroom, Amber decided to start singing, and Ms. Pepe said she was starving. We feed no cat before 5:00, and by that time, things had calmed down....we actually never got out of bed until a little after 7:00. Rick and Jackie went outside, I gave everybody breakfast, Rick is working on cleaning his desk off, and I'm lounging back here with a cup of coffee.
