I'm lying on my side in bed after hurting my back. I was looking for a bottle of wine, and dropped one on the floor with an "ow!" ... And it was to cook a piece of fish...

Frustrated. I had a whole bunch of things to do, and was supposed to go out to dinner with some visiting family (they're out, eating)..

I don't hurt myself carrying bags of kitty litter.

Last week I hurt myself filling the bird feeders, :nod: I hope you feel better soon.




I eventually did shower yesterday :lol3: , went to the grocery store, and then we went out to dinner with a friend.

We came back here and played a game he had brought. Now I am sitting here contemplating running out to buy that game to bring with us to another friend's house tonight.

Just finished making my bread dough and am back here, trying to stay out of the way. The flooring guys are here, working on our bedroom floor. 

I still need to go into town.

I'm sitting here hoping it will pour from about 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. so that idiots can't set off fireworks for New Year's Eve/Day. Poor Mogli is already upset by the firecrackers he hears. Fireworks will mean a nearly hysterical cat and no sleep for me, and I have to be at the shelter around 7 a.m. tomorrow.

I am eating a bowl of cheerios. After that, I am going to the grocery store. Hubby had to eat gluten free cheerios too this morning. I haven't been to the store since Thanksgiving except to run in for milk and bread, eggs, etc. I am so out of groceries, I had the hamburger in the pot browning for spaghetti and had nothing in the way of pasta sauce. I like to use one of the gluten free brands, add diced tomatoes and some spices. Hubby was up the road hunting and I had to call him and get him to stop by the store. Yes it is time to go. I do have a coupon they gave me, $6 off on an order of $85

Just finished doing the dishes and preparing for baking the New Year's cake.

I just know it will look like a 5year old made it, again..

I've been checking email, & hanging out here on the site off & on all morning. I need to go get in the shower, & do my hair. Gonna blow it out, so its done for the weekend, in case I decide to do anything. Lol! Going to my parents tomorrow for new years day lunch/ dinner @ 2:00. I rented red box movies for tonight, so need to go pick those up too.

I'm slightly functioning. Made it to the bank. Ate breakfast (combo of crunchy raisin bran and cheerios).

Now, I'm watching three little yellow birds out the window. My cat's asleep right under the window--they would probably be scared away if she was awake. Oh wait! There's four now...

Sitting outside in the sun. Rico is supervising Daddy pulling weeds and I'm supervising them both.

Getting ready to go straighten out my bed, clean the litter box, take a shower and then make dinner. I feel so boring this NYE, lol.

Earlier today I vacuumed and swept the kitchen and bath.  Got my hair washed.  Played with Hekitty for a bit.  Just noodling along with emails, while watching the entire Harry Potter series of movies.  I recorded them from an ABCFamily network special weekend.  I like recording shows and watching them later so I can zip through the commercials.

Later, my friend Suzanne may stop by, and we'll have a glass of wine to celebrate.  Depends on what time she gets in from church, really.  If not, I'll drink a glass and kiss the cat at midnight.

having appetizers for supper! and a glass of wine. 

I did many errands today..even drove up to the Specialist Vet Hospital to a renewed script and meds for him. 

Went to church, and then home, heated up appetizers, glass of wine, fought with Artie for his medicine (he is getting so bad with the even pill), and then on-line. 

I do not think I will see midnight. I will hear it, with local fireworks, but not see it.

I am very boring...

Dinner has been consumed. Just finished up my mini-can of Coke. Gonna hold off on the Matilda for now or I'll be asleep way sooner than I want to be. We're watching our pre-recorded Jeopardy at the moment, then probably gonna watch a pre-recorded movie. I'll probably still be online researching cat food though lol.

Now watching the countdown, 15 minutes (less than that) to go! Will watch the Chi-Town Star rising! Listening to my kitties play with each other and wonder why we're still up, lol.
