I'm having a "minimal chores day". I've done the dishes, swept 2 out of 3 rooms and cleaned the yard (snow melted so had to clean up after the dog). That's basically no chores for me.
Love it.... me too..

Just one small load of laundry..and the usual stuff...no big cleaning or vacuuming today..

Prone position.

My cleaner came today. I went to the mall and bought quite a few odds and ends. $60. Had lunch out and then can't home and rested. I'm still tired. Not a bad day.
Y'all have a good day.

...with the cats...
my busy day yesterday ended up continuing on into today -- i hate when that happens.
but, on the bright side, we've got a clean and tidy home and a very good start on prepping/portioning/freezing the new raw food order (the rest is in the freezer, will prep/portion/freeze that once i've bought some more freezer safe canning jars).

so right now, i'm doing as little as possible...just relaxing here at TCS, and shortly will make the cats snack and then my dinner.

Having my second cup of coffee. Worrying about Sara while she's (hopefully) eating in the bathroom. And being thankful that Friday got here as quickly as it did.

Enjoying a cup of coffee here as well. Trying to put off tidying up the house. I've got a 13 hour shift at work ahead of me and I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Got to work with minimal stress as far as traffic this morning. Went to the doctors on Wed-had a sinus infection. They were going to give me Amox and I asked for something stronger. I asked for Zithromax because I can't handle 10 days of antibiotics. And I was told Zithromax is really good for upper respiratory infections-I would rather only do a 5 day treatment than be on antibiotics for 2-3 weeks as Amoxicillin absolutely does nothing for me. I have been on it so much in my twenties that it doesn't work anymore.
I added probiotics to offset it. I have noticed the yucks have slowed down so I think the antibiotics are helping to clear out the nasal junk. Still tired. But at least the headache is getting better.

Then of course worrying about Pumpkin face=she is doing well-looks like the shot they gave her is helping. She hasn't been straining in the box every hour anymore-looks like its back to normal-she still sleeps a lot-I am wondering if the stress of taking her in for laser treatment made her so stressed that an infection was able to take hold. So I haven't decided if we will continue those appointments. I wish she would eat the dasquin food because it would be so helpful for her.

At work and dealing with mountains of orders I needed to take care of on Monday-but no boss until the 20th so I have to figure out how to get these items ordered via another method as the computer route we have set up is only one person to approve and if he doesn't change that setting then no one can approve until he comes back. Such is corporate stuff. Taking my morning break and catching up with everyone.
Not sure what to do for dinner-still have left overs from Wendys on Wednesday-chili and potatoes-and nacho chips=they have changed their flavoring-it used to be a bit zesty-but its bland and not much for onions in it. Someday I will actually use my slow cooker..my excuse is I am in the mood for certain things and when I precook meals I decide nope I don't want that..spoiled I guess..

I know this is a cat site but prayers please for my dog Chloe Lynn. She was attacked by a vicious dog. She might die. [emoji]128549[/emoji][emoji]128534[/emoji][emoji]128543[/emoji][emoji]128544[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji]

Oh dear. I hope not. She is in my thoughts. Why aren't these blank dogs muzzled and kept on a leash. Your poor baby. Please God she'll be okay.

I'm prone.
It is so hot I'm dying but I don't want to put the air conditioner on yet. It is only April. In the next few months it'll probably be on for 15 hours or so a day.
I've been quite bored today for some reason. Watched some tv and read my book. That's it.

Chloe Lynn is resting. There is nothing the vet can do. He said her wounds cannot be stitched but he cleaned them, and gave her medication so she doesn't get an infection. She's a lover, not a fighter. She's a gentle giant and will not fight back to save her own life. She was attacked by a husky! Chloe is old, for a big dog. She's going to be 8 years old soon. The vet said that if she makes it through the night, she'll probably be able to pull through. She was and probably is still in shock. She is hiding under the truck and does not want to be touched. She has taken a few nibbles of food. I'm so upset. She just got up and got a drink of water. She was whimpering earlier though and I can't stand it. The husky that attacked her is a young dog and NOTHING is going to happen to the vicious dog or stupid owner who puts the blame on Chloe! [emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128548[/emoji] MY dog is the one that is hurt! My dog weighs 80+ lbs yes but this husky is about 60 lbs so it's not tiny. Chloe is old, overweight and not aggressive at all. Just wait until that husky attacks a child! If Chloe Lynn doesn't survive this I will be so sad and angry. She is not whimpering at the moment, she took a few nibbles of food and got up to drink so I'm hoping that's a good sign.
In good news, Nala Ava Marie's stroller arrived today. Clawdia & Nala Ava Marie got into a cat fight today! Ugh!!! Naughty kitty girls!

It's 4am. What am I doing awake and with a headache. Not nice.
It was so hot I slept with the window open and no duvet. I was going to close the window but blighty is sitting on the windowsill looking out. I can't spoil his pleasure.
I'll try and go back to sleep soon. Sleep well all of you when you go to bed. Hugs all round.

A adoringangel72 , I'm so sorry about your pooch! I will think good thoughts for her tonight. We had a Basenji (Bittie) that got attacked by one of our Alaskan Malamutes (Rosey) MANY years ago. Rosey was a very jealous dog, JoJo (one of our male Malamutes) could have cared less, but anyone that went anywhere near him, she attacked. And she managed to get out of the run by throwing herself against it so it opened just enough in the back. We were sure Bittie wouldn't make it, she was in shock so much you could see the steam rising from her body. She somehow survived that. It was pretty awful. So I will think good thoughts that Chloe will survive the night also.

Relaxing. Just scooped all four litter boxes, two of which Penelopy blessed while I was in the middle of cleaning. And the last one I did is very shallow, but has a cover. Well, without the cover on it, Pea-Pea managed to get litter all over the place. Oh well, such is life with cats. Sara's pilled and fed, all the other cats are fed too. Coffee is made. Watching the kittens chase each other through the house. Hard to believe they will only be kittens technically for a little over a month. The time went by so fast.

I bought a slow cooker and have never used it. I don't know how!
Put your food in it (meat, veggies, whatever you like) with enough water to cover, season to taste, and set it on either Low or High.  If you set it on high, the food will be cooked in about six hours.  If you set it on Low, your food will be done in about eight hours, but it will also be more tender than if you cook it on high.

It should have come with instructions.
