Well, I just got some surprising news. Completely terrifying, a little bit exciting, and (if I'm being competent honest) kinda disappointing (for admittedly selfish and pretty shallow reasons).
I'm probably pregnant. Only taken one test so far, I'm kinda hoping it's a false positive....
Nick doesn't know yet, he's still at work.
I'm freaking out pretty bad right now and I needed to tell someone. :(
Congratulations if you're happy. If not you will be. Apart from vomiting, I enjoyed being pregnant. Try not to worry.

It's 1.15am and I'm lying down reading everybody's texts. You certainly worked hard Artiemom. Well done. I couldn't have done it.

I just sent that. I hadn't finished. Dopey old lady. Watched a few films. Read my newspaper and did the crossword and read my book. A normal day for me. My back is much better.
Hugs to you all.

No, that was st the vet's office.  He even managed to tuck his head down and get below the top of the sink.  I wasn't sure we'd be able to get him out.

We did stop at the lake and walk a little so he could see the ducks, geese and other birds on the way home.

Oh, good.

Poor little guy.  I have white coat syndrome myself.  My blood pressure is always elevated at the doctor's office.

Remember you told me the pain in my shoulder would come back after the jab? You were right.
Ohhh, I am so sorry to hear that. You are going through so much right now.

Sometimes the cortisone shot is all you would need, it would do the trick and the pain would vanish.

In my experience, that has not happened. I had 4 shots in different areas of my shoulder...

Does icing it help? I find that to be the most helpful. The numbness and cold, seems to dull the nerve endings for a while.

I also hang my arm down over the arm of the recliner. The gravity seems to help stretch out the joint.

A lot of times just keeping the shoulder warm helps also...

There are no guarantees as to what will work, when...

My shoulder is also subjected to the weather.

I am sending lots of love and wishes for you to feel better soon...

Had a great time at the cat shelter event last night. Was throwing up half the night :/ I remember thinking, "If my cat was puking like this I'd be taking her to the vet!" :lol3: Hey, I had to laugh at myself. The way it was happening I was so afraid I had food poisoning, but I am able to drink my coffee this morning so definitely not that. And so here I am, drinking coffee.

Thank you. The doctor said we'll deal with it when my back heals which is a little every day. Hugs and kisses to you too.

I was completely terrified when my first pregnancy test came out positive. We had no money, I was a college student about to finish and had gotten a job covering a maternity leave for a year. I obviously couldn't do that and I was really upset about it. Everything turned out great though and we've since had a second baby. It's a big change but an amazing one. The first time your child says "I love you" is one of the best feelings ever.

I'm at work on lunch. Losing an hour sleep is killing me. I'm dragging the whole day. Can't wait to go home.

Sitting here relaxing for a bit. I just got a call that my daughter no longer has a hole in her heart and her heart appears to be normal. Best news I've heard in a long time and she is now done with all specialists and appointments due to being premature.
Great!!!!  Everything is as it should be!!!

Just finished a sandwich and it didn't make me nauseous. That is a good sign. I was not so sure after getting nauseous from breakfast.

I don't know about you, but I tend to get nauseated whenever I'm really really hungry, or when I have low blood sugar.  Not useful -- it makes it much harder to take care of the problem.

I'm getting some lunch and working up to doing some house cleaning and running some errands.

I'm so glad that all is OK and she's got the all clear.
