Hi! What are you doing?

I wanted to create a thread where we can post simple, short messages saying what we are doing or feeling, any time of the day (or night), whenever we feel like... Kind of our own version of Twitter or Facebook .

So, What are you Doing?

In my town we have to buy special town trash bags. During the week after Christmas though there is a trash "amnesty" where you can put out as many black bags as you want as long as you put out one town bag. Someone I know has been posting non-stop on Facebook about how she missed her day to to misinformation and that she has so much trash just sitting around now. I'm thinking of driving by her house just to see how much trash there is. :anon:

Contemplating what to have for dinner tomorrow (for NYE) and trying to gear myself up to go to the pet store and pick up trial cans of food. Looking at the snow makes me want to be a hermit again today.

I just finished mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors.  Now I'm just taking a minute to sit in front of the computer until my back stops hurting.  I have spinal stenosis and it's pretty painful at times.

Right now, I am trying not to think of what I could, should or even want to do today. Last night was pretty hectic with rushing Keeker to the Vet, then sitting up til 7:00 this morning monitoring him and worrying my butt off. *sigh*  I am breathing a little easier today as my Boys are doing OK... and Keeker is actually trying to engage Kricket in a wrestling match. I'll probably spend the majority of the day keeping an eye on Keeker and hopefully catching a 'cat nap' or two to make up the sleep I didn't get last night.

I'm trying to work up the motivation to take a shower. It's been that kind of day.

I'm working (well, when I'm not checking in on TCS).

I leave the office in about 1/2 hour and then will off until Monday the 4th!

Shaking my head in disbelief. I've worked with a lot of people at quite a few places in my life and nothing someone has done has rendered me speechless before. It happened today.

People get food delivered here all the time. We have to fill out a form for the receptionist with their name, the restaurant name, amount and tip along with the money or a credit card so she knows what to give the driver. Normally, it goes OK with the occasional mix up but nothing big. Today someone had food delivered and the place she ordered from charges a delivery fee that is not a tip to the driver. This place has been delivering here for a long time and everyone knows how they do things.  I don't know what happened today but she decided that the delivery fee WAS a tip so she didn't add one plus she shorted the amount of money for the order by .15 cents. When the driver got there, he refused to give her the order until she paid the .15 cents because otherwise he'd have to pay it. Now I understand it's .15 cents but what would happen to the poor guy if everyone did that? She got mad and threw the order at him. Yes. Really. Who does that? Especially at the reception desk of their job knowing it's all being recorded on video through the security cameras. The guy called the cops. They showed up and talked to the guy who eventually decided to not press charges. She got sent home. No idea for how long. I thought I'd seen it all. I guess not. I guess she didn't think that her behavior was going to make ALL of us look bad to this place now. I'm curious to see how this is handled because everyone knows.

@Kat0121  That story was awesome. :) I love office drama.

I am also working, and dreading my appointment to go look at a new gym tonight. I cancelled my old gym membership because it changed owners, and everything went downhill. That was a year ago, and I've been dreading finding a new gym. Mostly because I HATE the gym and working out in general. My thighs are rapidly expanding though, and I refuse to buy a size up in all my jeans.

Waiting for my husband to wake up from a nap so we can cook dinner together. He does the chopping/prep and I do most of the actual cooking but we almost always cook together which helps a lot!

It's 3.30am and I'm wondering if I'm going to get any sleep tonight.

It's 7:52 pm and I just put a load of laundry in the dryer.  Today was my day off  and I spent most of the day in bed watching tv with the cats hanging out on me.  I was cold so I had my electric blanket on too. I did do laundry throughout the day though.  I did not get out of bed  and shower until about 4 pm.  I am hoping that I will be able to fall asleep easily tonight since I have to work in the morning.  I always seem to have a hard time falling asleep at night on my days off.

Just checking in here for a few minutes. Then off to get a shower and go to bed. I am reading a book on miracles right now. It is a good book to curl up with right before falling asleep. I love miracles.
