Small hard lump on cat

Hoping someone can help here. My wife and I were stroking our cat this evening when I felt a small bump on his stomach/chest (photo attached) It's a very small, hard lump with a black head. Cat doesn't appear to be in any discomfort.

He is a 2 year old house cat only, no outdoor activities.

Any experience anyone has had with this before we take him to the vets? We are first time pet owners so not sure how worried we should be!

It is likely a  sebaceous cysts. If it is that, it is not life threatening, but you should get a vet to look at it
