My boy isn't keeping food down... any ideas?

He threw up a lot this afternoon all in one go. I figured the new wet food didn't agree with him or he had been playing too hard too soon after eating. A while later I realized he wasn't doing well when he didn't try to steal my pizza from me. Then I tried to feed him. He wouldn't eat wet food, treats, and had no interest in human food which he usually tries to get like his life depends on it. He's drank water a few times but then threw up a bunch of liquid. Awhile later he was interested in the treats so I gave him a couple and he threw those up. He's about half as active as he normally is. He did poo recently. I don't know what could be wrong and intend to take him to the vet first thing in the morning but I am really really worrying about him :(

I didn't find a place to edit my first post, but he is 6 months old.

Cats can get stomach aches so I am glad you are taking him to the vet.  Something  similar happened to one of my cats the vet gave her a shot for nausea and she was back to eating quickly and stopped throwing up.  Hopefully the vet can give him something tomorrow.

Thanks for making me feel better! He seems to be doing better as well. He's playing like he normally would now, just hope he eats soon!

Did he start eating yet? Inappetance can be pretty wicked with cats. You definitely don't want him to go without food for very long (more than a day) as that can cause problems with the liver. Hope it all goes well with the vet visit.
