I am babysitting my mothers older female cat that has little scabby patches on her coat and its worse on her stomach where she got spaded (A long time ago) It looks like red scabs on her stomach or lesions of some kind. My mother can't afford to take her to the vet and I can't afford it either. Do you maybe know what this is and how I can treat it with an alternitive remedy. Thank you.

It could be anything from fleas to allergies or dermatitis. An animal is a responsibility and along with that responsible is providing care for that animal no matter what.
Is it flea treated? And if it is if you used over the counter products that could be the problem right there. But honestly, you need to take the cat to the vet for a skin scraping and analysis.
