4:30 because Leroy was getting fussy for breakfast
After the cats were fed, I went back to sleep and didn't get out of bed until just after 7.

Originally was woken by Cocoabean loudly purring by me at some earlier than the sun rise hour. She kept softly trying to get us out of bed, but we managed to sleep until 8 am. A luxury for us. Casper, to his credit, waited very patiently and quietly.

I woke up at 5.30 to give Pixie his heart meds (he sleeps in my bed, so no getting up required ;) ). Got to sleep WAY too late last night, so dozed a bit longer after that and finally got up at 8ish when Asha started telling me she was starving and about to waste away if she didn't get food NOW! :lol3:

Happy Christmas Everyone!!!

Lessee, if we only go by the time I woke up where I didn't go back to sleep, then I woke up about 8:50 (someone had called). I got up about 9:30.

I was happily awakened at about 8:00 and snuggled with the Boys til about 8:30. Got out of bed and fed them, then made breakfast and ate in the living room while they opened their gifts!

"Wow, Mom! Roast chicken breast au jus AND treats for breakfast?"!

"OMG! And a bite of ham steak AND new catnip toys?"!

They went bonkers for about an hour, then promptly crashed!

I slept in until 8:00, when Hekitty went skitterkitty all over the bed.  Got up then, too.  No rest for either the wicked or the weary, or the wickedly weary in this house!  And for the first time in years, I spent the morning putting together a toy (cat tree).  What fun!

I think I actually slept in and got up around 7:00.  But that's only because I got up at the usual 5 AM and fed the kitties, then went back to bed. So nice having a few days off work. It's going to be rough going back.

9:30.  I went to bed about 5:30.  Thank the Lord my kids dont rise early!  I told DD that at 9 she could wake us up; but she didn't!  DS can't get out of his room.
