Lil Boo and Lucy

Hello there ....Lil Boo and I are in Santa Barbara .. I am a new parent to her and am very glad to have found this site.  You have been very helpful already.  She has only been with me a little over 1 week.  She is 4 months old and just got spay yesterday.  So obviously I am a lot nervous.  Just glad your here .  I know I will be asking a of of questions.  Cheers !!!

I'm so glad you call your cat Lil Boo... I've been calling my cat Moe Moe, or little Moe--because I was calling her Moo... After calling her Nunu...and on and on (her name is Lulu--she usually goes by Kitten)...

Santa Barbara is a beautiful place--I drove through there not all that long ago, and went out on the pier.

And I, too, get nervous whenever the cat has to go to the vet--it's scary! Your kitten is very cute I miss kitten-hood.

Welcome to TCS! How is Lil Boo doing from her surgery? Recovering quickly I hope. This really is a wonderful site and a great place to learn about or just talk about cats.

I went to college in Santa Barbara at UCSB many years ago and loved living there. It's a very pretty part of the world.

Hey thank you for asking...Well she is going a little bonkers with  the e collar.  I take it off after she eats twice a day so she can groom and clean. I sit with her so if she goes for her incision I can block her.  I would just love to take it off and leave it off.  She is so much happier without it.  It's been 6 day's and it seems ms like a month .  If I hate it I can't imagine how she feels.  But her incision looks good so we shall see.

Good to hear she's doing well. My sympathies about the collar though. How long is she supposed to wear it? Poor baby!

Oh she has to wear it 10 days.  Today is 6 .  So we shall see I might take it off earlier depending on how she is doing.
