I'm at a loss for brunch on Christmas morning

Here's my idea:

Quiche (with bacon, sour cream, spinach, 'shrooms, ham, and Monterey Jack, Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses; the recipe makes two quiches)

Browned sausages

Roasted breakfast potatoes

Sauteed apples

New York-style Crumb Cake

Plate of Christmas cookies

Mimosas

Hot chocolate and coffee (I have my marshmallows to plop into the chocolate, too)

OR

Caramelized Upside-Down Bread Pudding (This is really rich)

Browned sausages

Sauteed apples

New York-style Crumb Cake

Plate of Christmas cookies

Mimosas

Hot chocolate and coffee

There will be seven of us for brunch and we are all rather hearty eaters, so brunch cannot be light. And it's the only meal we'll probably have all day, at least for Rick and me.  I don't want to skimp on anything and I don't want people to feel that they're still hungry afterward!

Am I missing anything? What could I add? Anything you'd want for brunch?

It wouldn't take me long to put together a couple loaves of freshly-baked bread, but it's a lot of carbs as it is for both meals (not that anybody is worried about carbs or calories or anything really). With some honey-butter.

I just don't know.....any ideas?

I vote for the Quiche meal. The bread pudding sounds too rich for my taste. :)

Our Christmas brunch is usually: Cheesy scrambled eggs, hash browns, little smokies, cinnamon rolls, spiral cut ham, biscuits with homemade spun honey, and a few other odds and ends.

Your meal sounds wonderful!

I love brunch but in my famly a homecooked "brunch" just means scrambled eggs and bacon, maybe some biscuits from one of those refrigerated cans
I have to go out to a restaurant to get a a decent brunch.

I went with the quiche....it was delicious. The recipe made two, so I froze one of them for later on in January. I browned sausages and roasted potatoes. Sauteed apples; I thought the apple slices were too done, but everybody else liked them. And the crumb cake was good. Mimosas and coffee....I didn't do the hot chocolate. I had a huge platter of cookies and they were gone in no time.....I don't know what it is about cookies, but they just don't last long.

Everything went well and everybody said they'll come back and do it again next year!

Thanks for the links, LTS3!
