Absolutely! I remember my bedroom was a kitten-free zone, until they discovered it. Then it was my bed that was a kitten-free zone, then they realized they could climb up the side. No more kitten-free zone, and Lucky was none to please at first (oh yeah, my little ol' man Lucky has slept in my bed the last two years until he died). Then we got Penelopy a few weeks back, so I have three kitties on my bed at night quite often. And Oliver has decided to take after his late Uncle Lucky and drape himself across my chest while I'm sleeping. No wonder I get night sweats!

And yeah, the kittens were pretty darn crazy at first on my bed. It was their personal wrestling mat. Now (at 7 months old) they finally sleep on my bed rather than play. At least at night. Mornings are a free-for-all though.

But what a wonderful sweet way to be woken up

Both of my cats sleep with me. Thankfully they sleep through the night without moving around much. One does like to crawl under the covers though, and it always scared me because I think he's going to suffocate!

My male cat is a drooler (when purring) so that's usually a bit... wet. He'll sleep with his head on me and I'll wake up with a drool spot on my arm.
lol my guy would sleep under the covers during the day but at night be stays on top to the covers. Maybe he just is worried about getting dutch ovened  lol

All my cats growing up slept with me.  However my DH is allergic to cats; so we have never allowed them in our bed.  They only get limited access to the bedroom now that they are older.  I think that only "works" because that's always how we have done things.

You might consider getting a small chair for your bedroom...I recently bought a "boudoir " type chair and put it in my bedroom just 2 nights ago. I could hear my cat snoring but couldn't quite place his location, until morning. He likes it...he's close enough to me to keep him happy but my tossing and turning doesn't bother him in the chair...his chair, apparently. Monet is always in the bed with me, firmly planted right up against me, especially my tummy.

Cassie comes and goes. sometimes she'd sleep on the edge of the bed, or under the covers. But often she'd sleep in the laundry basket.

When I was deciding if I should adopt Paul and Chula, one of my questions was: Do they sleep with you? Upon hearing they did, I knew I was in the right track! Chula sleeps as close to me as she can get and Paul has several spots, including right next to me. I wouldn't have it any other way! [emoji]128570[/emoji]

Artie sleeps with me about 99% of the time. He cuddles in so close to my legs..or belly....

I had 3 beds for him and he stills ends up with me...

It is nice to wake up to the "tap-tap" on my shoulder--but not the "meow" in my ear!

Yes, I sleep with the bedroom door open and let the cats run in and out as they wish. When they feel like being playful they tend to go do it in another room so it doesn't wake me up. There's definitely a hierarchy though... sometimes they all sleep at my feet (I have a double bed) but only Fuzzy is "allowed" (his rule, not mine!) to sleep up next to my head!  Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with him snuggling up close to me and it just melts my heart.

Periodically they decide to sleep in the other room, and I miss them!

Does this answer your question? A friend added the text and sent this back to me when I sent it to her. In the photo are Lily (facing the camera), Tabitha is snuggled next to me, Camie(other silver) and Foxy on my pillow. And no, it isn't like this all night - they just all decided they wanted their bedtime loving at once.

Edwina usually curls up by my knees; I have a hard time falling asleep if she's not there. She usually stays for most of the night. We don't know where Ireland spends her nights, but that's fine because she tends to bite feet through the covers if they move! She also likes to wake me up on the weekends by nipping my ear and pulling on my hair; she'll usually settle in under the covers after a little of that, though.

I'd be more than happy for Asha or Shadow to share my bed, but it's generally too full of greyhound for them to get comfy - single bed with one human plus one greyhound equals very little cat snuggle space :lol3:

My cats have always slept with me usually on my feet One of them used to sleep on my head.. Now my three babies sleep on my feet. Sometimes it gets hard to move around, but I would not have it any other way . I love waking up and seeing them asleep.

My boy is free to sleep where he wants and that usually means on the dresser rather than in the bed with me.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night in a strange contorted position. Sat up, and realised my three were sleeping in a row that entirely blocked off about the bottom third of my bed - I had to curl up within the top two-thirds! Good thing I'm not tall!

Henry slept on the bed last night for the first time. He's come in to say hello, explore and occasionally, he'll snuggle with Sophie for a little bit but last night, the girls came to bed with me and all of a sudden, there he was. I have a microfiber blanket that was on the bed. It's super soft and he was very curious about it. He started to knead it and then curled up on top of it and went to sleep. He was still there until some fool's car alarm went off at about 5:45 AM and woke all of us up. He got up and went into the living room. That blasted car alarm went off for about 10 minutes before someone shut it off.
