I have a window perch for Felix right next to my bed, and he prefers sleeping on that. I do keep my door open for him to come in as a he pleases though!

He sleeps on the bed with me sometimes...when he does, it's almost always either next to or ON my face...and always super early in the morning. I wake up from dreams with a nose full of cat fur...

(I can't say no to him though! Especially when he gets cuddly!)

My little Soot will tap me awake if I'm asleep to let her come under the covers and will put her head on my pillow or arm.

I love it!

Towards the end of lotto's llife he.became very.bossy.
He would wait until I wasin bed, climb.on the box that helped
him get to my bed. Stand on my pillow and wait for
me to pull the covers back and get under the covers and move down
my legs to my knees and go to sleep. If i put my
hand down to stroke him, he'd bite me. Not hard and he wasn't a
bitey cat.
I loved him so much, bites and all.

I always found it to be a great source of comfort to know that my Midnight was there beside me. Her purring was a natural sleep enhancer for me, and I know she felt that my presence was a measure of relief for her. She was a snorer! But I didn't mind, because her snores were so adorable. How I wish I could still hear those snores and purrs in person again, instead of only in my memories.

Ours sleep wherever they wish. Sometimes with the kids, sometimes on the floor, on the window sills, cat caves, cat tower, book shelf, and even sometimes in the bed with us.... Especially when the weather is cold.

Yes. I bought a kitty bed for Buddy when I first adopted him, and he's never really used it except occasionally for napping.

At night, he waits for me to get settled in bed first, then he settles in over the blanket, between my knees usually, or he snuggles up to my side and kind of burrows in. He likes to have physical contact when we're sleeping, which I guess comforts him and lets him know that I'm there and he's safe.

At first I wasn't going to allow him on my bed, but I quickly realized that was going to be impossible, and he needed comfort anyway. Poor little guy was probably missing his mom. One of the first nights after I adopted him, I woke up and realized he was fast asleep, with both front paws wrapped around my forearm like I was a stuffed animal. Funny thing is, he did that same thing again recently when he wasn't feeling well.

It was always a comfortable thing for me as well to have Midnight curled up next to me. Her purring was better than any sleep remedy that I ever bought at the pharmacy.

I don't really recall about the first cat in the family, but my second always did. She was born feral and I still remember the first time I woke up in the middle of the night to see this fuzzy little lump at the foot of the bed.

With my current cat (Ollie) we kept him in the kitchen overnight until a little under a week ago. We wanted to get his digestive issues under control (no luck yet) but I floated the idea of letting Ollie into the bedroom on Friday with my husband. I had forgotten it by then, and when my husband brought the subject up again I thought it was partly guilt for taking Ollie to the vets (again).

Ollie's taken to curling up under the blanket during the day, and snuggling down at the foot of the bed between myself and my husband during the night (well, why not? Ollie has two human hot water bottles doing it that way
). I can sleep through anything (upto and including screaming, someone barging into the bedroom, and the vacuum cleaner going) so Ollie jumping on and off the bed doesn't bother me. My husband...is much more of a light sleeper, though I wonder his thoughts on my reaction f he suggested shutting Ollie (or cats in general) out of the bedroom overnight.

the first night (preceded by her first introduction to - what is now - her permanent home) i sort of assumed that toki would probably choose to sleep under a bed or some other "secure" place in my house... obviously, i had a lot to learn about her personality/behavior. she jumped into bed just as i was pulling up the blankets. Once on the bed, she sort of weighed her options for a minute or two before choosing a position that managed to allow for the tactile enjoyment of my fleecy blanket without sacrificing the.. security? communicative behavior? gained from direct fur to flesh contact (she lay so that her back pressed against the length of my arm).

Ever since that first night, she has chosen to sleep in bed with me. actually,  now she frequently sleeps on me (i keep waking up with cat fur in my mouth and nose. yuck.) About a month ago, the heater in my bedroom stopped working. Just in case she gets chilly in the night, i went out and bought (another) little cat cave - - this one is made out of some sort of unusually warm fleece stuff. i put the cave up on the bed, with the door facing me. i've never seen her use it at night, but she is sometimes asleep inside when i wake up in the morning.

Of course I do. Misa is my ESA. Although she has her own  bed, she refers to sleep with me which is totally fine.

Robin starts at the end of my bed(I'm a restless sleeper)(notwithstanding the fact he's got a good 3 inches of fuzzy blanket to sink into), then he settles next to my exposed arm, then he dives under the blankets...all of them. I don't know how he can stand it, but my bedroom is VERY cold in winter. He generally remains under all the blankets for several hours. It's hard to tell the cat lump from the blanket lump; I have to be careful not to sit on him by accident lol.

Much of the bed is taken up by my dog and I, but foster cat that I've been housing in my room for a year climbs on and off as she pleases. Before that, my other cats were allowed to sleep with me, but they prefer my parents' bed for some reason. One of my three was always my baby, but she started sleeping with my brother when we adopted the dog, as she sleeps with me most nights.

I'd love to let my boys sleep with me, and when I just had Frankie I did. But now, they wrestle half the night and wake me up at 5am to be fed breakfast even though they aren't ever fed until 7:30-8am. I miss having them snuggle with me!

So now I keep my door shut and they sleep somewhere else curled up together.

My cats are allowed to sleep with me. Widget always slept at my feet, until he passed awa. Marcus sleeps nearly every night with me, often at my feet, but recently he's stated sleeping on the pillows. He sleeps pretty steadily all night, and being 3 and a half yrs old, isn't convinced my feet qualify as bed mice any longer.
