My two cats aren't that picky either when it comes to food, but I rotate the following brands:

Blue Buffalo

Wellness Core - regular and Trufood

Royal Canin

Simply Nourish

Science Diet

I never give them Friskies, Meow Mix, etc. since the ingredients are mostly fillers and many of them are not grain-free.

The cats will pretty much eat anything, but they just turned a year and about a month ago they seemed to start disliking the Pate style foods so I have to make sure I buy food with texture.  I also add a little olive oil to their food and sometimes pumpkin puree.  They eat it right up and its good for them.

I think rotating a cat's food is a great idea, for more than one reason. Many members here do just that.

I heard it is OK to use for constipation, but only for that not long term. That's what my vet said.

That's great! Many of us on this site rotate wet food too for many reasons. I personally rotate my wet food and and add some raw food in every day as well. The brands of wet I rotate are:

Wild calling- turkey, rabbit
Merrick limited ingredients
Red barn chicken stew (not a pate)
Sheba
Whole earth farms
Weruva-paw lickin chickin
