Favorite... hmmmm. Potatoes or corn. And I don't care, they are veggies. But if anyone insists they are not... then Brussels sprouts. But only when made the way I like them :)

Least favorite - by far, onions.

Brussels sprouts are yummy, if made properly (roasted until caramelized, with garlic and lemon. . .mmm). If boiled, they're slimy and gross. Same with broccoli.

So, veggies as in "eat your veggies!", not as in the proper taxonomic definition of vegetable, right? ;)

I love sweet potatoes. Some kinds of squash. Broccoli is a favorite when raw or roasted or steamed, but not boiled, ugh. I just tried parsnips in my roasted veggie mixture, yum! But that's my only experience with parsnips so far so I'm not sure if they're always so good. Haha, I'll just say I like all veggies in the right settings. I can't think of any I don't like when prepared well.

There are only a very few vegetables I never acquired a taste for, but here is a list of the ones I know I DO love!

Asparagus, Aubergine (egg plant), beets, beans, peas, chickpea, lentil, squash (pumpkin, zuccini, etc.), fennel, garlic, lettuce, endive, dandelion, artichoke, leek, onions, chives, shallots, radish, potato, sweet potato, yams, watercress, carrot, corn, rhubarb, turnip, bok choy, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage (red, green, Chinese or Napa), kohlrobi, spinach, kale, rutabaga, rapini, broccoli, horseradish, radish, cucumber, okra, tomato (actually a vegetable), tomatillo, goji berry, celery, cilantro, basil, parsnip, mustard, poke, capers, lemon grass, bamboo shoots, ginger, and so many more...many vegetables have sub-categories.

While I love many of the black and red peppers in spices and sauces, I don't care any of them raw or pickled; nor do I care for bell peppers unless they are cooked in a soup or such. The same with celery and carrots - I cannot eat them raw, but love them cooked. And there is a whole slew of herbs!

I love to cook different ethnic foods, so I use quite a few 'different' vegetables and I am fortunate to have an International Food Market about 30 miles from me that carries things from ALL over the world. It's wonderful because they offer cooking classes that teach you how to use different ingredients and spices.

...with the cats...
for me, i like almost all veggies. and it's all in how they're prepared, whether i like particular ones. i mean, i don't like okra when it's prepared so it's 'slimy' but i've had it breaded, spread on a baking sheet, and oven fried and i loved okra that way.

favorites: carrots, parsnips

least favorites: kale, collard greens, mustard greens. i've never actually even tried these, just thinking about them is more than enough to gross me out. no offense to anyone intended.

I like a lot of veggies....

Favorites: Carrots especially baby carrots, mushrooms (they're ok raw like in a salad but love them over steak), fresh spinach like for salad, corn especially corn on the cob but we get frozen a lot and it's yummy with butter, zucchini, cucumber, olives kalamata are my favorite, shallots, onions if they are cooked or on a sandwich, pumpkins, peppers especially banana peppers, sweet potatoes & tomatoes if they count I looove them especially on tacos, pizza and sandwiches. I don't know if they are a veggie - but I like sprouts the kind you put on sandwiches. Yummy! And artichokes I love them dearly!

Least favorite - Asparagus how I hate asparagus no matter how it's prepared it's just nasty, radishes, beets, peas unless in the pod or stir fry alone are disgusting no matter if they have butter on them and Avocados but I will eat guacamole. Oh yeah brussel sprouts are nasty!

Also I like potatoes but they're not a favorite.... I just like them different ways. The fries usually end up with my dogs if I get them at fast food unless I am starving.
Miagi likes them too as of late lol.

I prefer my mother's homemade cut fries! But Hardee's (fast food) curly fries are to die for. I used to like Arby's curly fries but they made them too spicy.

ETA: I hate cauliflower I don't care how it's made.. it's just.. gross. My parents love it I hate it lol. And lima beans.

Favorites   Carrots, fresh green beans, broccoli.  All of which, if they aren't overcooked.

Least favorite   Okra, eggplant, asparagus

I like eggplant parmesan as well.  Cover anything with cheese and it becomes edible.

No favorite - I do like most.

Do not like kale. Under any circumstances.  Not a fan of several squashes but, when prepared right I can deal with them.

My favourite is probably fresh green beans from the garden.

I don't like Brussels sprouts

And I've never tried okra or eggplant which I saw on a  lot of dislike lists.

Wow.  I never met a vegetable I didn't like, although I've run into some cooks who should be kept far, far away from some vegetables.  My mom used to boil both Brussels sprouts and spinach into submission, and I thought I hated both.  Later, I was introduced to them cooker properly, and a lifelong love affair began.

I suppose my least favorite veggie would be the acorn squash, but only because I can't seem to cook them properly, no matter how hard I try.  They frustrate me.  However, when we meet at the home of a knowledgeable cook, I am quite prepared to set my prejudices aside and greet them cordially.
