How is your cat doing now? Have you spoken to your mom about this? Give us an update when you can. We want your cat and kittens to be okay!

Your mom might be able to work out a payment plan. If your cat is unable to birth her kittens they can die inside her, and your cat will also be in danger. This is serious.

Sometimes (usually) the longer you wait the more the vet bill will be.

Any ideas here that may help?

She wants you to stay with her and comfort her. Many cats want their special person when they are in labor. Try to stay with her and gently rub her to keep her calm. She is in labor. Let's hope she will have her kittens on her own eventually.

Can you put her in your bedroom with you and take her out of the cage? She might be more comfortable in your bedroom.

Is it cold in the basement? Your cat needs to be warm. Is there heat there? Does she have a blanket or towel in the cage to lie on and give birth on?

Someone needs to check on your cat tonight while she goes through this.

If there is no heat, then her cage needs to be brought upstairs tonight.

Thanks for the picture. I'm glad to hear that your basement is not cold.

What is the cord for that is hanging from the cage?

Make sure she has food and water for the night.
