bump on cat's lip

Hi there,

I have noticed a red bump on my cat's gums today and I am wondering if anyone could suggest what it may be? I think I will make an appointment at the vet tomorrow... However, if anyone has any idea what it could be, I would greatly appreciate your opinion. Thank you!

Hmmm hard to tell. The location makes me think of rodent ulcer but it could just be a form of acne. I would have a vet look at it, for sure. Please, do let us know what the vet says!

Did you ever find out what the bump is? My cat has one that looks just the same, and in the same spot, though mine looks a little more red. Trying to decide if it's worth the stress of a vet visit....
