Hello Everyone

I have recently been looking into homemade pet foods (baked and raw) and I am learning a lot, but it's so difficult to know if the information I am getting is reliable. If anyone has any personal experiences making their own cat food or has any good links please let me know

Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing everyone's opinions

You can purchase a balanced recipe for a homecooked diet from this site from veterinary nutritionists...they will also help you properly balance a home prepared (cooked or raw) diet that you may already be using:
http://petdiets.com/

I don't think this is really what you are looking for but I thought you might find it useful none the less.

I had to add the WWW to get the link to work http://www.petdiets.com/

This is a book that a vet recommended to me. It has balanced homemade pet foods including special diets.

i went to www.petdiets.com and they want $150 to give you pet food recipes. I guess everyone deserves to make a buck, but puh-lease! Try Anitra Frazier's The Natural Cat for lots of good info plus balanced recipes.

I have a book entitled "Real Food for Cats. 50 Vet-Approved Recipes to Please the Feline Gastronome", by Patti Delmonte (ISBN 1-58017-409-4). The other one I have was published in Germany, so probably wouldn't be of any help to you. JC's reaction has largely been to sniff at the food, gaze at me, and meow, "Where's my Innova/Felidae/Solid Gold?"
