Found a sweet short book " the batchelor and the cat". He opened the door, it was snowing , wind blowing like crazy, tiny little wet skinny kitten runs in and hides under his sofa. His girlfriend does not like the kitten and kitten does NOT like her. Cat teaches him about people. Another lady , not quite as pretty and fashionable as the othr one is visiting one day and kitten jumps in her lap. The lady just falls in love with the kitten man learns that THIS is the woman he should have in his life

This one about an obese kitty and his road back to a healthy weight:   http://www.thecatsite.com/t/245236/mickey-my-27-lbs-foster-and-his-journey-back-to-a-healthy-weight

Sweet kitty with a problem with her nose:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/301442/mystery-solved

And this thread about mama kitty, Polka, and all the other kitties that came into their house:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/300495/approximate-delivery-day-for-this-mama-kitty

Another mama kitty and her kittens:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/301164/stray-cat-just-had-kittens-questions

I like the reading thread too. Gives me lots of ideas of books to put on my reading wishlist:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/290270/what-are-you-reading-2015
I'm in the middle of reading Polka's story right now, and OMG.

Ooh, nice idea for a thread.
What's interesting is how many of my favourites are already here, including the ever cute Zander's Mystery Solved, unspeakably gorgeous Anubis' Please Help, Polka's amazing Approximate Delivery Day for This Mama Kitty , and Is This Starving Stray Pregnant or ......  It is tempting to say 'all of them' meaning all the ones I read as well as subscribe to but it is such a fantastic idea sharing different threads which others might not have seen yet.

There are many more but the threads which immediately leap out in my mind (for the love, care, inspiration, and the support and advice shared as well as the gorgeous cats) are:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/262730/random-heart-melting-photo-thread/600_100    The title says it all.

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/290989/flat-chested-kitten-syndrome/0_100   Fonzie's story still holds my heart and I wish I knew how he's doing now - but seeing his story as far as it went was inspirational and full of information for others to make use of should they need to.

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/283330/whats-wrong-with-this-cat-im-new-long-story/0_100#post_3881390   Because I couldn't help but fall for Black Kitty the moment I saw this thread, and to see pictures of him now makes my heart melt every time.  His story gives inspiration to anyone offering love and care to stray and feral cats everywhere.

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/274478/...-gray-maltese-cats-here/1100_100#post_3903059   One of my favourites of course (because I can post as many photos of Mouse there as I could ever wish).

I am sure I will think of more
and look forward to checking out all those everyone else posts about.

The Black Kitty about the feral who turned into house cat is my favorite! It made my heart melt. I also love the black cat pictures, Blue/Gray/Maltese pictures, Tuxedo pictures and Friend of Ferals.

OK, so no one has posted in this thread since just before last Christmas but I feel so inspired I had to come back here.

There are so many amazing people and cats here on TCS, but I spent a good while this evening getting to know about a young kitt' called Reeves and wanted to add his thread to this lovely collection of inspirational cat tales.

@jennyrosalie  has been keeping everyone up to date with her young cat's progress and showing what a wonderful cat companion she is in the process.

I agree with this!  As soon as I saw this thread was active again, my first thought was to post about Reeves and his miraculous recovery and jennyrosalie's devotion to his care.  I'm glad to see you posted it already -like you said, his story is really inspirational.

yep...and I found the thread because you posted.  And you took the words right off of my fingertips with Reeves' thread!

Yes, I love to read about Reeves, too. His recovery is a miracle, and jennierosalie has done a wonderful job of taking care of him. I also love Wendydelmo's thread about Naomi and Wynona and their 12 kittens. Nothing quite like shared motherhood.
